I've been at 173 for two weeks. My goal is to be in the 160s by next week's weigh-in!

Sending skinny vibes out there to the rest of you striving to get out of the 170s!!!

Weighed in at 171 this morning. I think I'm FINALLY over my month-long plateau of staying between 173-176. Fingers crossed! I can't wait to see the 160s!!

My week-long sabbatical (being on a plateau during my period wasn't that bad actually) is over. 171.5 is fine with me. I binged a little with PMS cravings (peanut butter... dipped in honey... on a spoon... on many, many spoons) so I wasn't expecting to maintain, but apparently my body is OK with starting to lose weight again now that I've gone back to a more regular schedule of eating and low(er) carb. And more fish. I've had herring, salmon and sardines (that's what's for lunch today) this week and I can't wait to maybe/possibly try some trout this weekend.

Good luck to all of you, ladies!

I just left 180-ville and am now here. I weighed in at 178.8 this morning and 179.8 yesterday. I hope I can see the 160s by the middle of next week. Good luck everyone!

174 this morning! Whoop!

Shouldn't I start to look better by now though? I feel like all this weight loss is just that, a number, not reality.

Perception can be a fickle *****. We're all unique and I am not putting anybody's reasons to lose weight down but think of it this way. Your arteries, your pancreas, your kidneys, all of your improved, slimmer internal organs are SUPER sexy!

I was a little apprehensive to jinx it but it looks like the 170s are gone. I can truly recommend now a weekend routine of lots and lots of sleep combined with lots of energetic walking and tons of quality protein and low carb. I'm low carb in general, but most of my weight loss this past month (and it's way past my goal for May) has happened during weekends when I woke up in time for lunch and ate lots of barbecued goodies without the sugary sauces and replaced those with grilled veggies instead. I think sleep might be the "miracle" nutrient. Every time I've gotten 10 hours of sleep on the weekend, I've lost more weight than I expected for the whole week.

Good luck, everyone!
