I am SO with you on my stomach being ridiculously big. I swear all my fat is stored right there. If I can wear a baggy shirt and shorts I actually feel worlds thinner because my stomach is hidden, and my legs are long so they make me look way more proportionate. Jeans are the worst, because to get them big enough to fit my stomach and waist I'm in a way bigger size than the rest of me needs. :-P I think it's a curse of tall girls to have a ruler shape where all fat goes to the middle! Actually my mini reward for hitting 154 is to buy a few new outfits and post pictures on the 20's thread! :carrot: |

caseygail- Welcome Back! I fell off plan for like a month recently but its been super easy to get back into my healthy eating habits. Hopefully it will be for you too! So super close to 163 this morning but no luck, maybe tomorrow. Still have 5 pounds I want to lose before Halloween! |
Echo ~ CONGRATULATIONS on your new BMI and breaking out of 160's!!! Definitely reward yourself!! :-) Have you maintained that 159.8? I saw 159.6 yesterday and 159.9 today, but like you I'm not leaving this thread until it's stuck around for a week or I'm seeing 158 on the scale!
BebeFied ~ You're right, it's sooo annoying when shorter people hear a weight and are like OMG, that's so huge. My entire life I've had very short, skinny friends and dealt with them talking freely about how 130 pounds is gigantic and a size 4 is the size of their fat pants. It was really hard on my self-esteem growing up (I've been 5'10 since I was 11)! I wish people would be more sensitive too and realize it's not about the number on the scale or the size of the pants. Khat ~ Welcome to this thread! :-) I have health issues too, fibromyalgia and as yet undiagnosed digestive problems (maybe celiac disease) and feeling like crap all the time and being in and out of the hospital makes it really hard to exercise - I know what you're saying! We can do it though, even if it takes us longer than most! :dust: |

Today I weighed in at 163.2 which is oh so close to my next mini goal. I'm really hoping to reach it by my next official weigh-in on Monday. |

Today I did my official weigh in and it was 167.4. Down 0.4 from last week. It should be discouraging but I was really bad last week. My family decided to make homemade pizzas on the grill for my brother's birthday. 15 different pies! Then on Saturday we went to the race track and I had a huge pretzel and popcorn and regular soda. To top it all off on Sunday we had chinese food for dinner AND apple pie (we went apple picking Sunday afternoon). Needless to say, I worked my behind off just to stay at my weight and after weigh in I realized that extra .4 put me at my official 10 pounds mark. I can't believe it took me 42 days to lose 10 pounds!
I'm getting back on track this week because ya'll are heading to the 150s and I'm going to be stuck here by myself. Oh, by the way, the 80 oz of water hasn't happened at all yet. I can't seem to REMEMBER to drink it! Good Luck to everyone weighing in at the end of this week! |
I've been mostly stagnant the last 3 weeks, but I finally have progress to report this morning. I'm down to 164.8, dipping a toe into the bottom half of the 160s.
I have a feeling this next 5 lbs is going to be a long haul. |
169.8 on the scale this morning. Barely in the 160's, but I'm here! :carrot:

Congrats EsperanzaBella! I'm working my behind off to get into the lower 160s this week! I'm scared I'm hitting a plateau.

Still 161 (same as 2 weeks ago). This is becoming a pattern with me now.... not losing anything for 2 weeks and then losing 1.5-2 pounds over the next two weeks... ah well. To be honest I haven't eaten that well these past two weeks so I have no one to blame but myself. :p

Echo= Sorry hun! I understand how you feel though my weight has been everywhere this past week.
So my official weigh-in on Monday was around 164 or something like that. Basically it was a maintain but today I was at 166 so who knows whats going on. Eh I think I've been not eating enough, not drinking enough water, not getting enough sleep, not working out so yeah now that I said it I guess it does make sense. |
