I pamper myself all the time, so there is not really a weight loss treat. But I can tell you when I overeat and feel fat I don't even want to leave the house and I only wear lose black clothing. So I guess my treat is life in general!

Well, I know we don't weigh in til tomorrow, but I'm down .8 already! That's great considering I had a monster binge on Monday. I'm very proud of myself for getting back on the wagon so fast.

Are you doing the 5k's as like a real 5k race with other people or are you doing them on your own? I ran a couple 5k's a couple years ago. I was looking at your times and you are doing great by shaving off so much time every time. Thats REALLY hard to do. Good for you!

Good job Peatrix! I got TOM this week but I've worked out really hard each day so I think I'm gonna do better than last week for sure.

Hey girls! I have kicked bootay this weekend! I ran/walked for an hour and 1/2 yesterday. I never have gone that long. I was done with my 45 min run/ walk and then my friend saw me out and wanted to go so I did it all again. I have been steady with my calories but still no change in my weight... we'll see what's up at the weigh in tomorrow.

Jah- Thanks girl. I'm so sore today! My legs and butt are never sore, I mean never but today they are sore from all that running yesterday. I know you run a lot, how did you work up to more running than walking? Do you push yourself more everyday?

I missed two questions:

What meal do you eat the most amount of food?

Dinner is my enemy. lol. I eat dinner at my desk at work...and that's where I eat the most. I eat when I'm bored which is the worst. So what I try to bring healthier food like fruits so I don't go bad on bad food.

What is one non-food celebration that you pamper yourself with when you hit a weight goal? Whether it be 5% or 50 lbs., what type of stuff do you do for yourself?
Hmmm... I've hit my 10 % but haven't really done anything to celebrate other than trying on clothes that were too tight... I talked to my bf about putting away $5 for every pound I lose and will be going SHOPPING when I reach my goal weight but haven't been able to do that because we are trying to save $$ for house. I think what I picture myself doing when I lose more, like reaching another 10% (which is only about 10 lb away), is buying new clothes as the current ones will be too big. But I don't know..because I wouldn't want to buy whole new wardrobe until I reach my ultimate goal.

I like running because I do it while watching my fav show... so I don't get bored. :P Now that I stopped doing the lazy run, with help of my watch and foot pod, I started sweating more and think I am already seeing the result! On Saturday, I saw my lowest weight ever since I started again in January. I have been relying on the running as the main part of my workout but as I was rather doing the lazy one, it must have not helped me as much as I thought it was doing. Now that I am actually doing it, we will see how it really will help!

Gotta brag for a moment.

Woo! I've lost 2.1 pounds this week and made it down into the 220s (Barely... 229.5.. but I'm there ). I also decided that while I was at my parents house today I'd have my mom take my "before" pictures because there's no way I'm stopping now

Have you all been taking before/progress pics? I'm so excited to have thinner pictures to compare

Congrats, Gretchy!
Yes, I'm doing before/progress pics and actually am posting them on my blog. It's a lot easier to tell the progress that way...

Good job Gretchy! Every mini goal you get is that much closer to your end goal. And it motivates you too! Awesome.

From the Newsletter:
How do you keep yourself from “giving in” when dining out?

The only way I do this is by looking up the menu before I go and PLANNING what I will eat. Sometimes I will plan in a splurge like I know I am going to eat two motzarella sticks then I know I'm gonna order the grilled chicken salad rather than the fried to even it out. Dining out is so hard tho... losing weight makes me really quite scared of going out to eat. At home I just know so much better what I'm putting in my mouth.
