Gretchy, Peatrix & tara~ Your goals sound great!!!

Today's Question~ What part of your body do you love?

I had to think about this one for a minute because I've been a little down lately and super hard on myself, but I have to say my butt. I love that it's small and I always have extra room in the butt of my pants, although that can be annoying sometimes too.

I feel better today, so I'm hoping that means I might be getting back on track. The beautiful weather helps too!!!

When did you start your weight loss journey this time (if you have tried more than once)?
~I have started when I signed up on this site in November. It seemed like a good time to start since it was almost 2 months since I had our second son. I have really done better with working out every day in the last month though.

Mini goal for April!
~I would like to get down to 183. That is my next mini goal and my 10% for WW.

What part of your body do you love?
~This is a REALLY hard one! My body is changing while I'm losing weight and there's a LOT of things that will not improve (without surgery!) My first pregnancy really did a number on me and give me a ton of stretchmarks on my belly, sides, thighs, behind my knees...I actually have 2 tiny stretch marks on my right upper arm that started to come right before I had our son and luckily they stopped growing!! I will never be able to wear a bikini and just wearing any bathing suit or even shorts is going to be a huge step for me. I guess I like my wrists and my ankles because I'm starting to see more of them now and they don't look too bad. Plus, no stretch marks there!

My legs and my butt...especially since I'm so close to goal. I can't wait to get rid of this extra fat on my stomach!

Recheck the weigh in stats... I made a boo-boo... sorry

Today's question~
How do you avoid being "derailed?"

I am coming out of a recent derailment right now, which I could have avoided by planning ahead. Planning ahead is the key to my previous success and key in my future success. I learn of new things that can throw me off daily, that I need to plan for. I think I might actually do well at the tournament this week as I think I have been presented with almost every challenge there is at a tournament. Now that I said that I'll be presented with another one...

Saturday & Sunday Question~
What is your plan to keep yourself OP this weekend?

I'm going to use the strategy I talked about above. Plan ahead. Tonight I'm going to take at least 1/2 and hour to one whole hour to plan out my weekend.

I got a weigh in last night and was happy to see a maintain. I was really worried that I would see another gain as I've been having a really hard time staying OP over the last week. I got in a C25K workout yesterday and feel SO much better then I did yesterday. Today is one of those days where I don't understand why it was so easy for me to fall apart when I feel so strong today.

Have a wonderful OP weekend everyone!!!

How do you avoid being derailed?
~ I just know that working out makes me feel better and I know my limit with my points...even if I do go over sometimes! I weighed in this morning at 189.8 so that was a huge motivation actually seeing 18- instead of 19- and especially no more 20-!! *mini victory dance*

My plan for staying OP this weekend is...
~to keep up with 30DS, level 2 is really something! Eat my points and don't go too far over and drinking MORE water!!

aangel22~ Yay!!! *Mini victory dance with and for you*

Where is everyone!!!??? I know we've had a rough couple weeks as a team, but some have been doing really well! Having a bad week should help inspire you to work harder the next week, giving better results in the future. Not seeing people post worries me that people are giving up. Don't give up! We're here for you!!!

Today's Question~ How do you get yourself back OP when you've had a bad day/week/month/ even year?

I had a bad week week before last and really struggled to pull things together. What really helped me was getting on here and talking to people about what I was struggling with. I have discovered in the past that if I ignore 3FC when I'm doing bad, I tend to create a trend of doing bad and don't come back to the website until I have some kind of epiphany which can take months (happened last year). I also continue to weigh myself even when I'm doing poorly so I can see what my bad choices do to my weight, and this past time, that is what really inspired me to pull things together. I have been 100% OP for 4 days now, which is the longest I have really gone since I started my journey this time! (I would normally only make it a day or two before having some kind of minor slip up, but none for the past 4 days!!!) I know it seems small to others, but I know it's huge for me!

As I said above, I had a great OP weekend! I packed a lunch and snacks for both tournament days, had oatmeal for breakfast both mornings and had yummy lean cuisine meals and soup both nights!!! I also got in my last week 5 workout last night which required 20 minutes of non-stop running. It's supposed to be either 20 minutes of non-stop running or 2 miles, but I'm not quite ready for 2 miles yet. I was amazed that I was able to run for 20 minutes!!!

I hope everyone had a great OP weekend and please post to let us know how you did!!!

Today's Question~ How do you get yourself back OP when you've had a bad day/week/month/ even year?

The most important thing to do is forgive myself. I had a bad week last week...and the week before lol. And I think it would be easy for me to just punch out right now and throw in the towel. I complain for a few days... think about quitting... then I usually try to get involved in something new. Like this time I'm joining a running club so that I'm motivated to work out more consistantly. Also I bought myself some new granola bars. And tried to make some fun plans with my boyfriend that all include exercise (riding bikes, hiking, running, tennis, fishing). I forgive myself for my failures... focus on from where I came. Recommit, buy new groceries so that I can plan ahead to keep it healthy... and then move on. It's not easy to do but sometimes just forgiving yourself for your failures and starting fresh gives you the boost you need to continue. Plus I love the idea of biggest loser challenges. I'm trying to start one at work and at home too. I hope another one goes on on here as well.

How do you get yourself back on plan?

Get over it and move on! The worst thing is to have the all or nothing approach, or the "oh well, I'll restart on Monday" approach...both of which I am very familiar, which is why I only lost 8 pounds my first 6 months of WW. Also, as Kim said, being accountable and coming on here and admitting what I did instead of hiding out. When I post even when I had a high weigh in, I'm more likely to get back on track.

Kim Way to go on the 4 days! I'm sure you'll have a big loss this week if you stay OP the whole time. I'm amazed that I have--and this will be two weeks in a row for me. Wow! I had had a crazy binge where I gained five pounds--well I have lost that and then some.

Good luck everyone!

tigarlily1~ Such a great approach! The running club is a really good idea!

Peatrix
~ Great job staying accountable!!!

Today's Question~ What did you have for breakfast this morning? (If you can't tell, I'm starting to run out of questions...)

I had a lemon light & fit yogurt and strawberries and creme oatmeal.

I had a minor slip up last night due to some raging emotions, but I managed to stay within my points. The weather has really been a downer during the last couple days, with lots of icky rain. I know April showers bring May flowers... but yuck, rain every day stinks!

Don't forget to weigh in...

~I just tell myself time's going to go by anyway, do I really want to sit back and not do anything about my weight or do I want to keep working on it?

What did I have for breakfast?
~Light english muffin with light omega plus butter and sugar free strawberry preserves, protein shake made with skim milk, protein, kiwi, strawberry and blueberries. yummy A bit high in points but I'm still doing well today. (8 points)

Doing good... a little worried for the weekend. Three days is a long time to let me loose at home. LOL I'm defiantely going to do my best and avoid all the chocolate Easter treats. I love peeps tho. good thing I like them stale gives me more time to not eat them. This morning I saw 154 on the scale... hopefully its not a fluke and I will see it again for my weigh in. Have a great weekend everyone!
