My hardest day is whenever I go visit my parents. Ugh. They don't keep healthy food in their house, and if I want to eat something healthy it's so much extra work that it's much more difficult to stay OP and not just cave and eat something bad. At least at my own place I can keep junk food out of the picture!

I measure inches - kind of. I couldn't find a sewing tape measure, so I bought a ruler and cut a piece of yarn, measured with the yarn then placed the yarn to the ruler. Unfortunately I think I allowed for too many mistakes to be made that way. I need to find a nice sewing tape measure so I can get accurate numbers to work from. :/

Gretchy~ Yarn is a great idea until you can get a hold of a good tape measure!

I got my butt out of bed this AM and did a Turbo Jam workout. I feel awesome now!!! I posted our daily question, which you can find on the 5th page. Also, I posted our team weigh in as well!

Great job everyone!!!

I actually do measure myself once a month. My first measurements were taken Feb 9th so yesterday was my second measurements. I actually have my bf measure me so that it's more accurate for some reason the tape always reads much smaller when I do it. So in my first month of keeping track I lost 4.8 inches. a little bit here and a little bit there... my neck got bigger tho... weird.

Have you tried the skinny cow ice cream sanwiches? Pretty good for 150 calories or less.

Thanks Kim. I really wasn't sure if it was good or not I have nothing to compare it to.

Also in that time I've lost 4 lbs... so I think since I'm only 5'1" even a few lbs show on me more than most. Bad thing when I gain those show too lol

Woo! I ordered Yoga Booty Ballet on amazon! It should be coming in tomorrow - I'm so excited to start using it! Anyone else here use YBB? What do you think of it?

I measure myself once a month starting in January. In two months I haven't noticed anything major--a half inch here and there. But I lost 6.6 pounds since then and I'm really close to goal, so it's not going to show as much.

I posted this on my WW thread too.......I was doing so well then had a major binge last night right before weigh-in! I'm talking pizza and a pint of Ben and Jerry's type binge. I feel so aweful today! So backed up and just blahhhhh!!!!! I need to turn this around. I've heard on here that weight loss is a process with ups and downs. The last time I had an up like this was two months ago and by the next week I was back to normal and had lost everything and then some! (See, I'm trying to talk myself out of my funk. lol) I know that hanging out on here really helped me, so I'm trying to go through the posts for motivation.

@ jahjah - Oh you can count on it - I know I'm going to post in here after I try it the first time, and after a few times. It's supposed to come in the mail tomorrow. I've never been so excited for a workout in all my life

@ tigar - That is so strange. My neck seems to have gotten bigger too. Weird...

I saw 176 today! I’m glad that it’s moving down. Hopefully it will keep going down... I just wish that was my weight yesterday so I could use it for the official but oh well.

Skinny cow ice cream sandwiches are sooo good. I need to get some... but never tried PB & Chocolate or truffle kinds... hmmm... gotta find thouse.

I ran for 30 minutes, did Taebo T3, and Abs of Steel: total 70 minutes! Yes!! But I found out that I only ran 0.5 miles in that 30 minutes! I'm going to try to go for 2 miles... maybe that will help with the number coming down.

Do you measure your inches? If so, what do you measure and how often?

I do. Chest. Stomach. Waist. Hip. Thigh. and Arm.
I do it monthly.
I used to lose quite a lot... One month I did the 30DS, I lost about 9 inches or so in a month... but no inch or weight loss lately at all. I really think it has something to do with my running speed. That 30 minute workout played big part of my workout but if it wasn't that much, then obviously I am not burning enough to have deficit. So... we will see how this goes.

I was so bad last night! I had 3 bourbon and cokes. 2 gin and orange juice. Even with that I still only ate 2100 cals out of 2500 cals but i know alcohol effects your weight loss. I hope that I didn't do too much damage.

@ here we go; I feel ya. I'm already worrying about my St. Patricks party. I know I'm going to be drinking. I plan to eat a little bit better each day that week to make up for it as best I can, but I still worry that the alcohol will stall things out a little.
