to get all my studying done today, do C25K with muscle work later on, and get a good night's sleep before my exam tomorrow morning.

OMG, talk about freakin' anti-climactic!! I'm so disappointed now! I just KNEW that this would happen--the moment I actually work up enough courage to ask him out, and completely and totally commit myself to doing it, of course he doesn't even show up for work today!! :rolleyes: I got all dolled up and was looking so cute, and was really anticipating the big moment where I'd finally get to do it... All for nothing! Don'tcha just hate feeling like you wasted all that effort? Heh. Maybe it sounds stupid, but I was sooo looking forward to finally getting to do a cool new brave thing, and then I didn't even get to. No fair! :tantrum:
BUT, ya know what? I really was going to do it... I could feel it. I wasn't going to chicken out this time. And that's almost as good as actually reaching my goal. At least I didn't miss the goal because I was too scared--it was only cuz I didn't actually get the chance to meet it! :dizzy: Sooo the next time I DO see him, I'm doin' it, d*mnit! Hehe. ;) *ETA* Since I'm gonna have to take a rain check on that goal for today (but I WILL come back to it!) I might as well not waste a perfectly good day... It's not too late to set another goal!! Hehe. So I'm going to set another school-related one (it's important!): I have a BIG final paper due next week, and we're supposed to turn in an outline of the paper by Monday. Tonight isn't going to be a very busy night for me, so I hereby promise that I will at least start the outline tonight. Even if I just glance over the prompt and the readings, that'd be better than the progress I've made so far (which is no progress at all!). :lol: |

I hit goal in the respect that I went out and had a good time. (got hit on two separate occasions) but I've only had like 500 calories today. It's past midnight and I'm not even hungry but I feel like I'd be doing myself a disservice to not eat a little something. |
Stay OP today, and do my 47 minute "walking & weights" workout! Thats a doozy.

Tonight I'm going to my friend's house for movie night. This is a time of temptation for me, so my goal is that if I splurge on a snack, it be something healthy or that I budgeted for. No overdoing it!

This is my first post in the 20-somethings forum but I posted an intro in the general intro area. I like this idea---my goals today are to walk 3 miles and do a half hour yoga workout.

Oyyy, so I kind of failed miserably at that goal for yesterday. :o I pretty much forgot about it until I was about to go to bed and I logged onto 3FC for a quick sec, and when I reread over this thread I was like "...Oh yeah. Oops!" Hehe. BUT, I promise I am going to start that outline very soon! :p
I didn't even set a goal for today yet, hmmm. Well, I am going to watch a movie with some friends later, so I think I should make it my goal not to eat any snacks or junk during the movie! I feel pretty confident that I can actually stick with a goal that simple, hehe. :D |
