I watched it will my brother (we have similar senses of humor), and I was grossed out and laughing so hard! The father was awesome, the bunk-beds, the family singing in the car, oh... so many good scenes!

Woo Hoo I have to share today is a great day because I had my tube taken out!!!! It still wasn’t at the level that they normally take it out so I might have to get it drained with a needle later but the doctor said it shouldn’t be left in any longer (it has almost been 6 weeks). Thank heaven!

And I don’t have to wear the surgical girdle all the time, I can wear spanx instead. Why is that so good because spanx are a lot less noticeable then wearing a bulky compression garment.

But I feel nauseous and am really pale but that will subside, and I can shower again. I called into work for the afternoon because of how I felt so I'm going to go in tomorrow. I should wait until tomorrow to shower but I proabable will give in today.

Bee – That is funny. At least you take it with good spirits.

Disgruntled One – I agree, it’s freezing in Michigan. It dropped in temperature yesterday and I couldn’t get warm for the life of me.

Cakebatter – what did you make this weekend? Good luck with boxing.

BLCarter – Weekends are hard. Hang in there. Glade to hear you and your son weren’t hurt in the spin out.

HWGA – I dropped off for a few days what happened last week at work?

Bella – Some times you just need a wasted weekend. Mine wasn’t that productive either.

Luvja – Isn’t it weird how sometimes a drink can cause something to clear up. Glade you are feeling better.

Star – 1400 that is a lot of e-mail address. Glade to see you back.

Natalie – I always go up three or 4 pounds when I eat Chinese. Attack of the killer sodium.

hey girls.

i would love to say i am feeling better but i would be lying i feel worse. i am going to go back to the doctor today we are supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow tomorrow.

so i am going to have to cut back on sodium. the last couple times i went to the doc my bottom number on the blood pressure reading has been high. i am a salt fanatic but my pressure has always been low so i hate to say it i always ignored the amounts of salt in things cause i didnt think it would ever affect me. i know how stupid that is but i figured i cant have sweets gotta eat healthy i can at least eat salt. well i want my numbers to be normal so i am on a deliberate plan to cut out salt. *sighs* i have had high cholesterol since i was 18 due to genetics cause i was still a healthy eater. i cant afford to have high blood pressure too.

i am around doing homework so i can chat with my 3fc girls. i have so much homework to catch up on ugh.

i start the fat smash diet today phase 1 detox nine days. i am going to rock it cause i cant work out yet i think i would surely perish on the treadmill.

so i made my beans and brown rice last night and i am getting ingredients for my veggie soup today when i go to the doctor i am ready!

i am like having exercise withdrawals ugh. i am going to die when i start working out again.

becky- glad you're okay i know that was scary for you and your son.
hwga - i'm glad everything is okay at work. GOLD STAR for you lol!
bee - i said on the last thread that story was hilarious i'm glad u could laugh about it.
cake - i am not better but i'm hanging in here trying to pretend to be better.
disg-i am from kansas city i know all about that kansas/missouri cold and weather. its much colder there than here in st. louis
luvja - that isnt cold thats inhumane! omg! move south now!
rhts -we posted at the same time! yay for getting that tube out that shower is going to feel sooo good!
taylor, tara, nish, cali, rachel, mojo- where have all my people gone? lol

*sneaks in*..... Hi. LOL I've been lurking. I do that quite frequently just so ya'll know. I never feel like I have anything worth sharing, so I don't. Yesterday was a good day. I actually had a clothes shopping day that wasn't traumatic or depressing. I bought jeans and they are a size 16. Woot! I haven't worn that in at least a couple of years so that was exciting. I also got a cute black top and cute shoes to wear out for the bf birthday dinner this weekend. He will be suprised to see me dressed up for once. haha Hope everyone's day is going good. We are about to get some nasty weather with lots of ICE so this should be fun. Hopefully we will keep electricity.

What started out earlier this morning as a small snow storm on Wednesday with only a couple inches has now changed to a huge storm of 9-14 inches! I'm hoping for a snow day on Wednesday!!

I totally helped break up a fight today at work. Two girls were screaming at each other in the hallway right outside my classroom, so I went to check out what was going on. F bombs were flying left and right and there was another teacher already out there trying to get the girls to break it up. One girl went pretty much over the teacher and the girl fight ensued complete with hair pulling. I tried to intervene and the girl ended up pulling my sweater sleeve down...thank god I was wearing a tank top underneath or else I might have flashed all the teenage onlookers LOL I have a nice bruise forming on my arm too.

Never a dull moment when you work in a high school! haha

I'm alive, and meeting with the service manager and some dipsh*t general manager tomorrow about the car. The initial meeting with the service manager and the garage supervisor went surprisingly well. I didn't cuss once, and for me that is saying a lot! An argument did ensue between me and the mechanic and I called him a c*cksucker, which is neither ladylike or in good form but at least I did not punch and/or pistol whip his sorry butt. I told homeboy that his mechanic was about to lose his jaw if he did not get out of my line of vision that instant, and at that point we decided it was best if we resumed talks with someone new -- someone (hopefully) smarter.

I'm going to spare you the details of what got it so heated in the first place. Anyway, I got in touch with the office of consumer affairs and I spoke to one of their investigators who is a retired vet. THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did not enjoy the military, but I will forever and always miss the people and the way everyone took care of each other. That's why as a vet when i'm trying to get something done, I seek out another vet. They will make sure you are taken care of.

So i'll skip the mush, but this dude is my effing HERO. I explained the situation and he says, "Hm. %$%^$# idiots... well, give them this last shot if you want, but if there is no resolution this time you need to sue the pants off of them and file a formal complaint with me so I can dig into this mess because you aren't the only one. It's not a question of you winning if you go to court, but whether or not you're keen on he idea of owning half of that company." LoL! So he gives me the names and personal cell numbers of some attorneys (the guy that wrote the VA lemon law, and specializes in consumer fraud) to call in case I don't get my way and armed me with a couple of copies of statute 8.2-608. One to lay down the law to those fools when I talk to them, and some more to hand out to any of the poor people in the waiting room that are dealing with the same crap and a "certified, 125-point inspected vehicle" that is obviously wrecked but mysteriously never reported to the dmv and/or and mechanical disaster.

A tow truck is picking up that car in the morning and dropping it off at Carmax so I can drive my own vehicle up there and have something to leave in. Round two, where's my bell?

Anyone else, since i've been super sleuthing like Erin Brockovich I have come across a ton of resources and information regarding consumer rights, etc. Don't take this crap laying down and don't let those corporations dictate what rights you do or do not have. They're in the business of turning a profit, not doing the right thing or informing you of all your options. I'm not a legal person by any means, but I have a wealth of information that could help if you'd like me to share any of it. Just PM me.

Cake -- AHHHHHH! WE SHOULD BE SISTERS! You're in Norfolk aren't you? I'm a beach rat during the spring and summer, we should meet up and get some drinks and a bucket of half-shell and shrimpses at Oyster Bar.

Becky -- Holy Crap! I'm glad you and the baby are okay, did you get the license plates of the car that did that?

Brie -- Ick! I hope you feel better soon. I haven't been sick in awhile, but then I am usually glued to the Wii playing Twilight Princess or Metroid so I only have to contend with my own germs 90% of the time.

HWGA -- Wait, what did I miss? What happened?

Disgruntled -- My parents live in Wichita. I remember visiting them for Christmas and New Years in 05 when that HUGE ice storm hit. We had no power for a week (thank god for the wood stove they had put in to save money) and I was stuck for an extra two weeks. DH and I visited them a couple years ago again and I almost died. I *hate* the cold, and that dang wind! Augh! In VA, even when it's in the 30's you are good because there is hardly ever any wind. Good luck, just thinking about that weather makes my old arthritic knees ache.

Bee -- LOL! I imagine that's what cats feel like when we give them baths for some reason. Being trapped in a car wash with the windows down. LoL. Is your interior okay?

Chele -- Dang! Being a teacher is harrowing, is your arm okay?
