I've been so bad with what I eat the last 2 days that I'm not even going to bother posting. It would be too hard to go back & remember everything I did wrong, I'd rather focus on the doings right.
Well, basically I've been bad. I need to change. I don't think you could call it binging exactly, so much as eating everything I knew I wasn't supposed to. Pizza, doughnuts, etc. I will be posting my daily intake again starting tomorrow, as well as activity. I feel like I'm cheating not only myself, but you guys as well. By not being accountable for myself & of myself, I'm encouraging others to do the same; that's NOT okay! Well, this ends right here & now! Be sure, you'll see me tomorrow, & I'll be eating better! Welcome newcomers, can't wait to get to know you all better! & don't stress it Ballerina, I forgot as well. But no more excuses! Oh, PS: I weighed in on Monday, the official "day". It told me I weighed exactly 200lbs. I'm not sure whether or not to believe the number or not, since I started at 204.8 & that seems too unreal for a single week. I suppose we'll see if that number holds (probably not considering my splurges)! |
December 23rd:
Breakfast: Whole wheat pita pocket w/ 1/4cup eggbeaters, 1 whole tomato, 1 tbsp fat free mayo, 1 slice lean turkey lunchmeat, dash of hot sauce. (146 cals) oh ya, and 2 cups of tea w/ 1 splenda packet. Morning Snack: 1 cup apple slices, about a 1/2 cup red grapes, and 1 egg white. (101 cals) Lunch:Garden salad w/ chunk light tuna and tomatoes, 10 spritzes low cal italian dressing, 1 diet sierra mist (128 cals) Afternoon Snack: 2 see's candy meltaway peppermints (170 cals - yeah, I screwed up here!) THEN my co-worker brought in pizza (one of my weaknesses) , so I had a slice of that :eek: 775 CALS!! Dinner: 2 small porkribs, 1 small baked potato with 2 tbsp sour cream (FULL FAT) and salsa. (410 cals) And just when you thought I couldn't put anymore food/drink in my belly ...LOL ... I had about 5 budlights last night after dinner! :devil: (550 cals!!) I screwed up pretty bad yesterday, I know. And I usually workout on my lunch break, but I had to finish Christmas shopping so I didn't hit the gym :( Hopefully I stay on track today ... URTH Nice to meet you! As you can see, I fell off the wagon yesterday too! LOL Hopefully I don't splurge on Christmas. I've started off so far so good today, but when I get home me and my mother in law are going to start cooking! I weighed myself just now, and I was 155. Not going to change my ticker though, since it keeps changing. I'll stick with updating my ticker on Mondays.

Ballerina: Don't worry how your weight fluctuates from day to day. Try to step away from the numbers & just consider Monday as your true weigh-day. Everything else just leads up to that point. Keep doing good!
MissPiggy: Thanks for the support-- it was the pizza that got me too! My mom brought a big cheesy pizza home! =[ Oh well, try to stay strong for the Holidays, I will as well. It's hard though since we'll be eating at my Grandma's house. A thought to consider: If you start getting weak later in the evening while at work, why not try to find ways to combat that weakness? Bring healthy, delicious snacks with you to work so that every time you feel weakness setting in you can always fall back on the smart choices you've planned ahead of time! Have a great day Chicks! Total Caloric Intake: about 1600 ------------------------------------------ Today was a rough day since I had to wake up pretty early in the morning to work. I had my breakfast & a snack both on the way & at work. The trouble started when I got off work at 4, & we all ventured over to my grandma's house to open gifts from our relatives (family tradition, we open gifts with our household on Christmas morning). We ate around 6pm & therefore I skipped my lunch & mid-day snack & went straight to dinner. We ended up leaving so late that there really wasn't any time (nor calories) for added meals. It's strange how the entire day can slip away from you when you wake up so early! Anyways, I kind of had a field day at my grandma's house, & I don't really know how much any of it cost me. I searched around on thedailyplate for calorie averages on certain foods, but it's all kind of here & there. I used the best estimates from what I found, & it should be roughly 1600 calories, give or take a little. I did restrain myself a LOT though. There was so much good food there, including ice cream & two huge trays full of sugary snacks!! However, I got away with just a very very sweet PB hershey kiss indulgence. =D Hehe.. I'm bad. Not doing great on my exercise goals.. My 'walk' once again is credited from walking all around Blockbuster, restocking movies & hunting down titles for people. December 24th:
Ok, i don't remember what I ate on this day, but I know it was not much. I remember after I left work, I didn't eat anything at all and skipped dinner because I was drinking with friends. Sometimes when I'm drinking, I don't eat. But I remember what I drank that nite: 2 low-cal margaritas: 1/2 oz tequila, 1 packet raspberry lemonade sugar free powder mix, 6 oz diet lime soda, 2 tbsp lime juice (got this recipe from my HG cookbook) I don't remember how many cals it is, but I know it's on 2 WW points!! 4 budlights 1 HUGE glass of cranberry juice & vodka (there had to be 8 oz of cran and 2 shots of vodka in it :( I didn't finish it though because as you can see I was already pretty buzzed LOL :barf: December 25th: Breakfast: 2 tamales, 1 pork and 1 cheese and jalepeno with sour cream and chili. (We make home made tamales every Christmas so I couldn't pass these up!!) Lunch: 1 refried bean burrito with chili and sour cream on flour tortilla Afternoon snack: 1 small bowl of honey bunches of oats w/ fat free milk Dinner: 1 small serving of shredded pork in sauce, 1/2 cup spanish rice, and 1 cup potatoes in chicken broth (I shared this with my hubby) Dessert: a few big bites of my hubby's Heath chunks ice cream. EXERCISE: NONE Yeah, I didn't do so hot on Christmas! I jumped on the scale this morning and it said 159 :( I was at 154. This is the first time i jumped on the scale in 2 weeks or so, and I'm so bummed I'm going to have to move up my ticker :( I knew I had put on a few lbs though, I was just in denial! I need to keep myself in check these next few days though, because my hubby is taking me out for New years eve, and I want to look good in whatever dress I get. He NEVER wants to go out, and leave the kids with the sitter! So i'm trying to take advantage of this opprotunity! ;) I hope you all had a nice Christmas! Now that it's over with, we can all try and get back on track! |
Ugh. I went to get my license renewed today and the DMV is CLOSED. ARGH! I was so dumb...I threw out the piece of paper (where I could have just done a mail-in renewal and put a sticker on the back of my license) because I wanted a new picture.

QuietBallerina: I am so jealous you got to sleep in! heehee. I was thinking of wearing a black cocktail dress, maybe one that goes right to the knee, but has some kind of slit in it to show off a little leg! LOL! And i'll definently have to wear some kind of gurdle, gurdle dress or gurdle underwear to hide my baby pooch. My stomach is the worst part on my body, and is the first part of my body to expand and get noticeably bigger when I go on a binge! Like the 4lbs I just gained backed, I'm pretty sure 3 of those went to my belly! :D But there are some good sales going on today, so when I get outta here (im working till 1:30) i might go to the mall ...
So far today I have only eaten tortilla chips and salsa .... I actually feel sick cuz I had like 10 of them! But I've been washing them down with waTER, so hopefully that helps! |

Where are we? Taking a vacation to fatty land, of course! We have both been so busy at work the past few days & with family that it has been a challenge to get online to post! I'm very sorry about the gap in consistency. I'll give you a quick summary of the past few days for me.
Thursday, Dec 25th: Total Caloric Intake: 1592 ------------------------------------------ Lycan & I went over to her mother's house for Christmas dinner, & had a delicious pot roast!! Yum. =] Ate a decent amount, but didn't splurge. I did eat less times than usual though today (I ate 3 times instead of 5 or 6). Friday, Dec 26th: Total Caloric Intake: 1538 ------------------------------------------ I did horrible today.. Because I wasn't prepared for my work schedule, I ate uncharacteristically, & again, only 3 times. What I did eat those 3 times wasn't very great either (B- egg/cut up turkey dog/mixed veggies, L- 2/6 bag of Chilli Frito's, D- 2 Cheesy Double Beef Burrito's from TACO BELL!) I felt really awful because I haven't eaten fast food in a long time.. It tasted good while I was eating it, but I felt physically sick afterward. I wont make such a poor judgment choice again. I vowed to quit fast food, & was so tired I didn't realize I was breaking that vow when my mom pulled in to the drive-through & asked what we wanted. SO, yeah.. Didn't do great & haven't had much time to work out besides just running all over Blockbuster, trying to do a million things before closing. Lol. :halffull: Today will be a much better day, that I know for sure, & so will the ones that follow. Lycan just left for Blockbuster & I actually planned ahead today & packed her a snack & lunch so she doesn't end up eating candy & cookies out of our Christmas stockings at work! Heh.. We also started the day off with a 10 minute yoga session using the game I bought last night (Quick Yoga Training (Nintendo DS)). It's a really awesome program, & I'm convinced a great investment! It's also effective, as I was sore just after 10 minutes. I never thought I'd say that yoga kicked my butt. :D Lol, we also tried to squeeze in a Hip Hop Abs video before she had to go but we only got 5 minutes in before she had to get ready. I plan to do some more exercise while she's at work, & maybe we'll finish our HHA vid later tonight. A note on my current weight.. I weighed in this morning at 196.8. Keep in mind that I have a digital scale, & it's probably broken, as it tends to change its mind every time you step on. However, i weighed myself 3 times & it stayed consistent. I'd really like to be excited about this, & I will record it, but I also realize a new scale would be more effective & keep me correctly informed. I can't help but be happy about it though! Broken scale or not, my weight has plummeted from what the digital devil normally reads! Regardless of whether that's my exact weight or not, it does indicate that I've lost a few pounds!
