Alright, in the spirit of making you girls with cans feel better, I will admit that I have no 5 lb weights so I made my own by taking empty milk cartons and filling them up with water to the 5 lb mark (as per my bathroom scale) and then freezing them. That way they have handles and they don't slosh.

Some days I feel stupid, and some days I feel like MacGyver. (Yes, my next fitness investment IS going to be dumbbells).
MacGyver! I haven't seen that show in forever.... lol sorry it made me laugh.

Question- I'm going to traveling home for the holidays and obviously can't bring my 5 lb weights. What can I use instead of 5 pound weights during the holidays?

Day 3 was a success!

My one friend in town is a day behind and another elsewhere got her DVD yesterday, so she's going to join me too! My thighs are finally starting to feel a little less sore.

And thanks to my trip to the doctor yesterday, I'm 98% hive free, just in time for TOM to try and mess things up! Ahhh!

HWGA You could use canned food, although that doesn't really compare to 5 lb weights...

Level 3 done. I don't even know what day we on since i'm jumping around. I also ran/ walked 30 min. I could run 5 min w/o stopping! I'm so excited.

I don't think cans are near heavy enough. Any other ideas? I'm all out.

Hey girls!

Finally checking in. I just Level 1 Day 4 according to starting on December 1st (& missing 1 day), but really I am on Level 1 Day 6. The first 4 days I didn't use any weights just so that I could get accustomed to this routine & then I introduced 5 lb weights! I am hurting. It makes me feel better knowing that all of you are hurting though too!

I have been good & I haven't weighed or measured...I'm waiting for the weigh in on Monday for the BLC.

I'm going to my mom's next week, but I am taking my laptop & I will be able to do the shred everyday. She actually wants to try it, but I don't really like doing videos with other people...I always feel like a tard!

Thanks for the support. I love reading how everyone is doing. It feels good to be able to brag about yourself a little bit & tell everyone that you are accomplishing something so great!

I am having raging PMS attitude today (yesterday was the cravings, today are the angry cries!) & I was dropping F bombs left & right tonight. I actually feel a lot better now, but at the time I wanted to knock them all out.

Chance, I haven't had any PMS issues despite current dealings! Or maybe I am and I don't know it!

hey girls!

i just finished day2, l1 and it seemed harder than 2 days ago geez.

i didnt do my shred yesterday because i didnt wake up early to do it then a friend dropped by for the whole evening and my workout slipped.

i will not let that happen again.

fyi i think i am going to measure every ten days to see what each level did for me but i will def post them for all to see.

happy shredding girls have an op weekend

Is that picture of you in your wedding dress? That dress is gorgeous! My SIL & I are always saying we wish we could have another wedding just so we could have another wedding gown!

Chance, Ahhh! April 21 is my birthday I saw that on your name and was like "hey, I know that number!" Congrats on your wedding day, though Ours was September 20, 2008.

I love my wedding dress!! There's a place about an hour and a half from where I live that is like a discount dress heaven. HUGE building, 3 stories, just full of dresses. They have a lot of past season type stuff, and twice a year they have a half off sale. I went on the first day of the half off sale and found my dress. So perfect and only $340!! My mom's dress for my wedding was more expensive!

Glutio: Same thing happened with me! My dress was actually used in a fashion show & this lady happen to get it discounted, so I got mine for $413.76!!! I was so pumped! And it was exactly the dress I wanted so it wasn't like I had to settle - it made it even better because I am a bargain shopper, so it was meant to be!

I can't believe I've exercised 5 days in a row! 5 days! That's AMAZING for me! ****, 5 days a YEAR is amazing for me! Haha! Even with cleaning the house yesterday for most of 5 hours before doing the video, I was actually so full of energy all night. I felt like I could do the video again or go to the gym or run around the lake, but I didn't.

I've had such low energy levels for so long it was just amazing to feel that way inside. I actually wound up staying awake until 2:30a and I'm normally in bed by 11:30p on a Friday! I made up for it by sleeping 10 hours, but that's ok too.
