Oooo, I want in on this! I finished 30DS mid-November and I've been doing it 2-3 times a week since then, but I want to try it all the way through again to see if I get even more results. I'm using 5 lb weights this time around, and it is so much harder, but I know it will be worth it!

I don't have a tape measure just yet, so this week I'll just track days completed.

12/2 - Done!
12/3 - Done!
12/4 - Done!
12/5 - Done!
12/6 - Done!
12/7 - Rest (D'oh!)
12/8 - Done!

Days Left: 24

So I started this on Monday with some 5 lbs weights which is going fairly well. I'm a little twingy in my shoulders, but nothing I'd even really call sore.

Here's my thing.

I have flat feet. Incredibly flat feet. The worst my podiatrist and orthopedist have ever seen (one is even worse due to a really horrible break and surgeries). So. I have two pairs of tennis shoes: one for low impact stuff and one set for raquetball and jogging.

I have never had a workout make my (lack of) arches hurt and cramp as much as this does. Whenever there is any jumping or having to be on the ball of your foot, it makes me realize I have no muscle there.

So, I've tried with my inserts, without, wrapped, high support shoes, no support shoes, barefoot...the works. I called my doc and he said as long as it wasn't bone hurting and more of a cramping, just work through it unless it feels wrong.

Anywho, I don't mean this as a complaint or anything, I just thought that was funny. The most workout I feel like I'm getting is my feet ;>

Here we go again : Thanks girl! haha

jahjah1223 : Right on Jah Jah!! I believe in you! haha

JoyfulVegGirl : SWEET! The more the merrier!

Zen Pharmacy : Wow, that is weird!! Well, do what you can - maybe replace the jumping jacks and jumping rope with some other form of cardio that is less intense on your poor feet? Do what you can, I hope they quit hurting what a bummer!!

jmb1981 : Level 2 is definitely a new challenge, but honestly it's so much more enjoyable than level 1. It's just more exciting somehow, more fun. I think you'll find it challenging but more enjoyable so you'll look forward to it more than level 1! Good luck!

You girls are SUCH motivation, this is exactly what I needed.
Let's get our you-know-whats into shape before we see all those relatives for Christmas! HAHA! I know I won't be the fat chick at the dinner table this year around, lol!

Carcar05: Well, I generally wear shoes every day with no support whatsover (completely flat inside like converse, keds or most commonly flip flops). So my feet have gotten lazy. They will get it together and persevere through!

Oh boy, I had my aerobics class today and it was like nothing compared to 30ds. Even though it is twice as long. I was still completely sweaty though. Right now I am off to go eat dinner, I am STARVING. I have two big projects due tomorrow but I am determined to squeeze in 25 minutes for 30ds tonight!

Zen- wow! That's awesome that you are doing it in spite of your feet! Yay!

So I had some extra time tonight. I did JM level 2 and then went a head and did level 1. No resting! Then I went for a 30 min fast walk. I'm very proud of myself!

HWGA I am in awe, I have no idea how you were able to do that. Last night after I did the video I was sooo tired, I just wanted to lay down. Great job!!!

Thanks, the only reason why I can (and trust me it was not easy!) is b/c I'm starting my 3rd month.

So I did level 2 this morning. And tonight I'm like, winding down from a way stressful day. And I'm contemplating either doing level 1 or doing some Windsor pilates.

Or just sitting down with a good book, haha... but working out feels like a good idea right now. What do ya think?

To be honest, I wouldn't do too much too quickly. You deserve it, curl up with a good book. You don't want to get burnt out. But do what ever you feel you should do.

Ok, I was totally committed to starting today despite some muscley back pain taking over my left side until I went to the chiropractor to try to make it better. Something must have really been in a bad way because now my whole back is in pain and I'm periodically having muscle spasms. DH tried to hug me when I got home and I seriously jumped about half a foot in the air! I feel like I'm starting off on the wrong side of the bullet here, but if I can't hug my husband or bend over to put the dishes in the dishwasher, I know that doing this video right now will not make things better!!

I will, however, take the leap from being scared of the DVD to actually watching it and finding out what I'm in for! Ha! And on another up side, a friend of mine found it locally, too, so we're going to be doing it together but not. I'm trying to get her to join here, but if not, I'll still let you know how she does if she makes it, too.

Ok, ladies, I'm a liar, which for once is a good thing, at least in terms of sticking to the plan! I put the video in to watch and decided to just try things and see if they caused any problems. Pain wise for my back, I had no issues!! My issues were endurance (obviously as I'm SOOO out of shape) and lack of proper undergarments. Me and jumping jacks haven't gotten along well since I was 14, so while I tried, I had to lay low on those to avoid knocking myself out! I may spend the next 30 days getting to where I can do the whole routine, though!
