Bekko:
My Christmastime plans are flying to Ireland in 16 days and spending 3 weeks (Christmas & New Years!) with my boyfriend and his family.

I have a pear shaped body to a TEE, and I have the same dress problems as you probably. Those like.. drapey dresses? They look HORRIBLE on my hips, they just... make them look larger, and less like hips, and more like disgusting love handles protruding a mile outwards in each direction.

I find the best dresses for my body type are ones that cut across me at the smallest part of my body... just below the boobs before the hips jut out.

And wrap dresses also look fantastic, because they cut across your waist only slightly lower than that. I'm going holiday dress shopping soon too! I wish you could come wiiith!

P.S., Jell-o has like no calories. Enjoy the shooters.

Amanda:
Let me know if your dad noticed! My mom totally noticed, and commented... but granted, she knew I'd been working at it, so the difference of ten lbs was not lost on her, lol. I just hope my boyfriend notices...

And congrats on being so close to your goal!!

Jahjah:
EVERYONE IS DOING THE 30DS BUT ME!

oooooooo pretty dresses! I can't wait to start shopping at the mall, I think my reward for going 10 days on 30DS will be a lil' trip to buy a lil' somthin'somthing.

I had to try out the 30DS just because it seems like EVERYONE is doing it and swears by it. I know my workout seems challenging to me, but I don't really see results... but then again if I have time to feel bored.. then it may not be as much of a killer workout as I thought. SooOoOo 30DS for me!

haha, I wish ALL of black team could go out together afterwards and go shopping. It would be a lot of fun to pick out cute clothes!

I havn't stopped by the gym yet today, but I'm still enjoying my rockstar. Think I'll do some cardio, and then later tonight I'll do 30DS. I can't believe 20 minuets can kick my butt like that. LoL I woke up sore today and was like SWEEEET! hehe~!

k girls good luck today! I think I'm going to start writing more in the evenings just because I noticed I'm starting to get really crazy cravings then. Maybe It'll help get my mind off of christmas cookies.

Haha, you can get it taken in around the "boobage" area if it's too much fabric. My old "little black dress"? I tried it on last night, and it nearly fell off my boobs and down my waist... I'm no longer a size 14 for damn sure, lol. Not sure what size I am tho.

148.8 this morning.

I got pretty upset today when a friend at the park told me that i should stop losing weight because it was making my face not so pretty :O! I just hate it when people tell you to stop doing what you're doing just because THEY cant do it themselves.

On a good note since we were having a bbq i put on my sneakers and ran on a non-running day to make room for the chicken wings .

Hey girls, how's it going today??!!

My plans for Christmas.... I'm flying back up to Michigan. I've been living in Texas since June, and haven't seen anyone but my mom since. My mom AND dad are flying down this weekend though to go on a cruise, so I'll see them for a little bit, but other than that nobody has seen me since June.

I would have LOVED to have lost close to my 40 pounds before I went back up there, but I got lazy, oh well. I'll have to settle for whatever I lose between now and Dec. 22nd. Whatever I lose in that time will be an accomplishment, trust me!

Today I went and walked on the treadmill for 45 minutes. I actually didn't look at the time and distance, but i looked at the average distance and calories output screen... I walked until the machine said I burned 20 calories at 3.0 mph then I 'ran' for 10 calories at 5 mph. I felt so good after that workout but i was ready to be DONE! Hahaha

jahjah:
Making your face less pretty? What the ****. Did you punch her? I would've punched her. I would've been like, "Oh really, know what would make YOUR face less pretty--?" *POW*
Also... pshh. I'm back down to a 36B. Granted, I think the biggest I ever was was a 38(large)B, but... they look smaller. *sighs* Perkier, not smaller... perkier.

Chance:
Haha, thanks!! I hope so, I'm starting to think now that people might notice... In my sculpture class, we have these long full-length mirrors in two places on the walls. Not sure why they were put in, but... for two years, they've served to make me shudder when I walk past. Yesterday, I absent-mindedly pulled up a stool to a group of people and was chatting to them while they were working on their sculptures. I kinda glanced up and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, mid-smile, and realized that I've got definition now in my face and chin.. you can actually start to see a definition in my jawline.. and in that moment, I actually thought I looked pretty damn good!
Not to mention this one guy has decided he likes me, and I spent the entire night watching him stare at me with my peripheral vision, while I pretended not to notice. Flattering, but really awkward when someone orients themselves in a room based on where you're standing.

KCWMU:
Ahh, well, wouldn't it always be nice to have lost 40 lbs before going to see the fam. =/ Ah well. You lose as much as you can now, then you keep losing. They'll be shocked by the difference once the inches REALLY start peeling off when you're getting down into onederland.

ALL YOU AMERICANS!!! DON'T RUIN THIS WEEK FOR THIS LITTLE CANADIAN!!! Lol, my thanksgivings was in October, so I already overate a little before all this jazz started.
Just try not to BINGE. Maybe overeat a bit, but don't BINGE.
Remember our weigh-in is coming up!!

Omigosh, P.S., the inches are slowly but surely coming off!!! My natural waist started at 33 inches, and my hips (around my belly button...) (I have high hips, short waist. Hips and bellybutton... same thing) were 39...

My high, natural waist is now 30.5, and my hips are 37.5!!! Yaaaay! I just love knowing that what I lose now is gonna come off my hips and tummy, so whatever I lose in the next two weeks before I see my baby is probably gonna be some of the most noticeable stuff. *happy happy, joy joy!!!*

Hey girls! I hope everyone has had a Happy Thanksgiving! I know that I did! I went over my Aunt's house and had one of the best Thanksgiving dinners I can remember! Everything was so good and I didn't go overboard so I was proud of myself! I ate what I wanted in moderation and felt full and satisfied. I was even worried that I ate too much but it turns out that isn't the case since I'm at 187.8 today! Woo! I was so excited to see that this morning. With missing two of my evening workouts this week because of overtime at work and also having Thanksgiving dinner + leftovers the next day, I was expecting to see no movement downwards, if not a slight gain. I'm so ecstatic! I've met my first mini goal of 188! I've lost 10% of my body weight since I started in the beginning of October! So much to be thankful for.

jahjan - Don't let that chick get you down. It's most likely jealousy talking, or if she's a good friend and you know she's not the type for that, it can just be that she's not used to your new face so it's a bit hard for her to adjust. Don't let it discourage you! She's most definitely not right and you have to do what's right for you!

Jelbb - Oh my gosh! You better watch out for stalkers, missy. That sounds kind of creepy. hehe I can definitely see it being flattering too though. Just look at you, turning heads and perhaps whole bodies as well! Also, grats on your lost inches! that's so great!

KCWMU - I know it motivates me to wow the people who haven't seen me for a while. You can do it! Even if it's not 40 lbs, I'm sure you can make a noticeable difference by Christmas! Keep up the good work.

Keep up the awesome job everyone!

Dear God. I heard on the news that two Walmart employees got TRAMPLED to death on your little "Black Friday" holiday. What. The ****?? I'd never even HEARD of Black Friday until this year, but that's totally mental, lol.

SO, I was talking about going dress shopping, right? Cos my "little black dress" was a size 14, which no longer fits me (in fact, it falls right off of me boobs... )
So I went and bought a dress and I am in loooove. OKAY, so it's a LITTLE tight, and you can KINDA see my spare tire, but I figure if it's dark you won't notice.
My friend Vicky used the word "bombshell" and my sister-in-law's mouth dropped open and she said, "What size is that?? JESS. You look like.. a friggin size SIX in that." (Which made me really happy, because my sister in law is blunt. She would NOT have said that to flatter me, she wouldn't say it if she didn't mean it... )

Taa-daa... my pretty new Look at me, boyfriend, I lost 15 lbs since you last saw me dress.
