I just wanted to check in. This week has been kindof crazy busy for me. School, work, other work, family. It all adds up so fast, I just feel exhausted. Then I got talked into going to Chicago for one day Monday to Tuesday. My clinic wanted me to go for the entire week but I declined because things are just too busy now. So they convinced me to go for one day to do the press conference. Its going to be exhausting but I guess in the end it will be worth it because it is getting in good with my professors and the dean is going to be there.

Otherwise I’ve been feeling really heavy lately, my weight isn’t really up but I just feel bloated and gross. However I bought some jeans online from Old Navy, size 12, and they fit which is the first time I’ve been able to fit into a 12. They are a little tight but fit. I haven’t gone to the gym in forever I’m debating a trip right now, again I don’t really want to but I think once I get there I’ll pumped. I guess I should go. Stop being lazy. Maybe it will make me feel less huge.

Taylor - OMG -I LOVE YOU. Seriously. I went out and found some of the laughing cow light swiss and put it on a light english muffin. It was to die for. With that and my spinach salad I had a great dinner! Even my DH loved it. I can't wait to have it with the turkey tomorrow as part of lunch.

Today was my first day of going for less that 1,400 cals and I've managed it with room to spare! I will actually be able to have a scoop of ice cream and a little something to top it with and not go over my daily calories. Let's just hope that the scale reflects my hard work tomorrow! It has been going up in spite of my hard-core workout yesterday. It helps that we got a digital food scale yesterday and I'm already addicted to weighing all of my food. I love knowing exactly how much I'm eating.

And while we're on awesome food, this morning I made an omelet with 1/4 cup egg substitute and 1 egg. For the filler, I used 1/2 cup chopped brocoli (15 cals), 1 oz diced tomatoes (5 cals), and 1 tbs mozzerella & parmesan shredded cheese (23 cals). It was soooo yummy and filling, too. The whole thing, even with the egg, was 143 calories. (W/ 1/2 cup ES and no real egg, it would have been 103 cals)

Taylor -- The cheddar wasn't horrible....a little salty, but I was eating it really by itself. I imagine if I had it WITH something else it wouldn't be so bad. I might try the original though...what is that like? Is that like a string cheese type flavor?? I don't really know how to make out "original" flavored cheese in my brain! Ha! I don't have the 100 cal English Muffins, but I get the FiberOne kind. I really like that grainy texture they have, haha. I haven't gotten turkey yet (the bf is paying for groceries for the next 3 months since he hasn't been able to for a while, and he hasn't had time to go yet..), but I can't wait to try it

arts Yeah, I guess original would taste like string cheese if I had to compare it to something. I will have to try the cheddar when I go shopping! BREAK A LEG at your audition, babe!

heidelene I am so glad you liked it! My boyfriend ate my english muffins! There was 2 left and he ate them when I was at school! So I gotta go get more. I ate one for breakfast with an egg and 1/2 a jenny turkey sausage and it wayyyy better (and healthier) than anything at McD's! That omelet sounds AWESOME, I will have to try it!

remember Great job with getting into a size 12! That must feel so great! Getting into a size 12 is a goal of mine! Way to go!

I WILL workout tomorrow! I WILL workout tomorrow. I would have today, but I worked yesterday with my trainer.......actually, I have no excuse. I should have today, but I WILL tomorrow! Help me accountable for that!

So, I have 100 calories left and I wanted some 100 calorie popcorn from pop secret...so I added it to my dailyplate.com and it told me I was over by 1. But I had exactly 100 left...what's up with that!??! Oh well, I am not gonna freak out.

My dad's birthday party is on sunday. Which means bbq....which means birthday cake, wine and lots of food. Ouch. I am not going to have any wine because on labor day I over did it and it made eating chips way easier, which is not cool. I will have a TINY piece of cake because I am paying over 100 dollars for a custom made one in the shape of a wine bottle (my dad loves wine) and will stick to chicken, veg and fruit.

Tomorrows friday! Yay!

*grumble* I think my fridge is busted. Last night I opened the freezer and my bagels were defrosted as were the waffles and the hamburger buns...LOL! I know, I never eat this stuff, that's why it's in the freezer! So then, I thought maybe it wasn't closed all the way and we are in the middle of a heat wave, but then this morning, the hash browns were defrosted and even the milk in the fridge tasted a little on the warm side. CRAP! I was supposed to go to the grocery store today. So I cleaned out the freezer throwing away most of the bread and anything else that has been in there for more than 6 months (or a year...;-)) It was running, but I have to wait until I get off to see if this is just an anomaly. I hope so. I really don't feel like carting the rest of my food over to my mother's house to store since she lives in another city.

Still didn't work out last night...wait, let me come up with a good excuse...it was like 110 degrees in my apartment last night...I didn't want heat stroke or anything.

Art: good luck. I'll be sending some extra strong vibes your way around 3pm my time.

Taylor: I'm with you...I WILL WORK OUT TODAY. I have to. Hopefully my fridge works and I won't use that as an excuse...I was too depressed to work out because I'll be without a refrigerator until at least Wednesday.

I was trying to read through all this half asleep right now, and for some reason the english muffin thing stuck out. Arts, if you like grainy, wholesome flavored breads try the Thomas' light whole-grain english muffins. They're also 100cals but 8 grams of fiber instead of the 5 in the 100cal ones...and good luck on your audition!

I think I'm hungry the reason that stuck out haha.

I hope everyone is having a great Friday. It's going to take me a while to get back into the swing of things here. There weren't nearly as many people a year ago.

Good morning ladies!

Remember: Congrats on the size 12! That's so amazing.

Cal: how hot is it in the bay? It's been high 90's in Sac. I always thought the bay was cooler.

So I worked out last night even with my headache.

I'm starting to get overwhelmed with all of extra activities. I don't have enough hours in the day. I've been working out right after work. Most evenings I have things that start at 6:30 so it barely gives me enough time to workout, get ready, and grab something quick. I just can't get up early to work out and Curves doesn't open to 6 anyways so I'm kinda out of luck. I means if I'm this busy without having a bf or kids, I couldn't imagine with it. Big props to everyone with kids and husband/ bf.
