5'7", 162# this morning, in size 14, still not loose. Waist just under 31 7/8".
Was in size 18 at my high of 197#, waist about 36.5" I think.
About 10 years ago, when I was exercising (lifting, but not intensely), not really dieting (except that exercising always made me eat better naturally), I was about 128-132#, size 8, sometimes size 6. I *think* my waist was about 28", *maybe* 27", I'm not sure.
At age 18 I was about 120 pounds, not sedentary but not exercising regularly, don't think I had ever dieted. Was still wearing a size 8, sometimes 6. Waist was 26".
Now, my body 10 years ago is my goal, not my 18 year old self. Even if I had a magic wand, I'd prefer myself from 10 years ago over my 18 year old self. By far.
Tops- Usually a large
Bottoms- Size 16 or 17juniors
I think a lot of the size difference is 1) the stores and 2) if your shopping at a plus size store or regular sizes. I know for me the pants at plus size stores are always way too big. I can wear a size 16 from the juniors, but a 16 at lanr bryant is too baggy in the legs and butt. But thats another story on how stupidly my body is shaped sometimes.
I'm 5'1" and weight 115. I wear a size medium top. I have broad shoulders and big arms. I lift weights, so they are fairly toned but it's upper arms are always big. Pants are 4-6, depending on maker and cut. Why can't clothes be a standard size? I got a skirt at Ann Taylor recently and it was a size 2. I am not a size 2. Do they think that I don't know?
I am 5'6", 148 pounds, size 8. In dresses, I am a 10 because of my wide-as-the-Sargasso-sea back. However, before I got prego, I was 155 pounds and a tight size 10. I was fitting into a size 8 this time around at 155. Now they are loose, so I think once I hit 143 I will be a 6. I don't think I have ever been a 6.

Apparently that's exactly what they think I am predicting that by the time I reach goal, sizes will have changed to the point where I am a size 0 and my eensy teensy little neighbor (who recently had to buy a double 0) will be a negative 7

Seriously. You know, I actually saw a size -1 at Banana Republic. That's absurd. I can fit into a size 8/10 jeans at Gap now, but my favorite 14's (also from Gap) from high school (not that long ago) are just now getting to the point where they are not suctioned onto me.
270lbs, around 5'4", Depends on stores...size 20-22 Most is too baggy at the bottom...so there is only specific places I shop now. I mainly like to shop Torrid or Baby Phat.
I am 5'0" tall and weigh 121 lbs. I wear a size 4 - 6 in pants , and usually a small shirt. Yesterday, I bought 3 pairs of shorts, and 1 pair if jeans from Old Navy. All are size 4, but there are one pair of shorts that are tighter than the rest.
I'm 5'1" (lots of fellow "vertically challenged" people on here I see!) weight 154
I tend to shop at old navy for jeans, and my size 10's were a little snug last time I wore them (I live way down south though, so there's no need for jeans right now).
Tops I'm usually a medium or large (depends on the cut of the shirt) and dresses and skirts are about the same. But like everyone else...it differs based on who makes it.
