What size are you?

I'm in awe of how different our bodies are! How some woman can be the exact same weight but be totally different in sizes. Or be the same size but be totally different weight.

I'm 284 pounds, 5'11 and my sizes range from 14 to 18.

What is everyone else?

I'm truly intrigued.

ladybugnessa 08-21-2008 01:09 PM

5'3" ish about 215

tops are 14/16-18/20
bottoms mostly 20s now...

sh3l5 08-21-2008 01:15 PM

im 5 foot 6...
139lbs....
and a UK12....
US8....

UrsusMaritimus 08-21-2008 01:16 PM

I'm 5'5", 154 lbs., and wearing a loose size 12 in pants (just can't seem to get into 10's yet...dammit!).

In skirts, I'm a 10.

On top, I'm a medium or large, depending on the shirt. I think I'd be a solid medium now if my boobs weren't ginormous.

caligirl98 08-21-2008 01:16 PM

4'11 almost 5'0, 5'1 with shoes on...LOL! 236 and It totally depends on what store I got to. I'm between 14 and 18...kinda wishing Avenue made size 12 because their 14s don't really fit anymore. 14/16 in shirts, but they only fit right if there is spandex in them...if not, the shirts feel too big. If you can't tell, I'm in between...too big for regular stores (who sizes always run small) and almost too small for plus size. I hate shopping.

mandalinn82 08-21-2008 01:19 PM

5'8", 165 lbs, and a size 8-10, depending on the cut and store. Tops are usually small or medium, but again, depending on cut, it could go to large..

bananapancakes 08-21-2008 01:23 PM

I'm 138 lbs and I it depends where I buy the clothing from- I always buy American Eagle jeans and from there I'm a size 4 but if I buy from Target I'm a size 7 pants. I wear a medium shirt.

I used to be a size 14.

yoyonomoreinvegas 08-21-2008 01:26 PM

5'8", 154 lbs.
Tops - Mediums. My shoulders are getting downright bony but they are wide.
On the bottom, 10s I've bought recently are getting a little loose but 8s still feel and look too tight. I have a pair of jeans from many moons ago (18 years :o ) that are labeled as a 10 but I still can't get them over my patoozie. I don't think I'll be able to think of myself as a size 10 until I can get back into them.

Kofarq 08-21-2008 01:27 PM

I'm 153 lbs, and I'm in a size 10 pants, and usually a med shirt, depending on cut. For 'yoga' pants, I usually get a large, so they're long enough.

SavingServo 08-21-2008 01:35 PM

5'1" 120lbs
I normally wear small or extra small shirts. Pants are a whole different story however, I can range from a 2-8 depending on the maker. I'm normally somewhere around a 3/4 though.

I used to be an 11/12 and a medium/large in shirts.

5'2 (and a quarter! :D)", 150 pounds.
Jeans/dress pants: 8/10 (though I am reluctant to give away my favorite pair of size 12's)
Skirts: 8
Dresses: 10/12
Shirts: generally M, sometimes L.

Man, sizing is inconsistent! These sizes are completely wrong for, say, Urban Outfitters, or American Apparel. Believe me, I will let you know if I ever fit into a medium shirt from either of those stores.

I started out as a 12/14 bottoms, L/XL tops.

ghost 08-21-2008 01:41 PM

5 feet tall, 182.5 as of this morning and I wear a loose 14, but 12's are still to camel toe inducingly tight. TMI?

Here we go again 08-21-2008 01:47 PM

Yeah, Ghost... TMI. lol

See this is what I'm talking about. Some people are the exact size as me but I weight 80 more. It's so strange!

lilybelle 08-21-2008 01:50 PM

I am 5'7 and weigh 148 lbs. currently.

tops, size medium to large.

jeans, size 4 women's or 5 juniors.

Lunula 08-21-2008 01:50 PM

I always wonder this myself! So interesting to see!

I am 5'6

When I was 230 -- I was barely wearing an 18 (could easily have been a 20, though I refused to buy any new clothes).

At 195 -- I'm wearing my old 16s, some are too large, so I'm sure I could get comfortably into a 14.
