Hola everyone! How are you all doing? Well, i have been up since 6am! I bolted out of bed, got my breakfast ready and headed out the door to work at the studio. I got home about an hour ago and now am hydrating getting ready to go back for my 3pm class!

The scale said 133 today which I am very happy with... I still have 5 days to get to 130 by April 1st!

It's a challenge I am willing to accept, but if not, I'm okay too!
I have really upped my weights this week, so it will be interesting to see how it affects my weight loss! Either way, i am well on the road to being 120 by July 1st and 125 by June 1st- so go me!

And go all of you for doing your thang too!!!!
@ruby- great for you to keep up with the pushups! Me too! It's amazing that they got so much easier, so much faster! LOL I am going to try for 15 now every day for the rest of the week!

And yes, good diet makes a HUGE difference! Actually, studies have shown that diet over exercise will help you lose weight more... now, don't get me wrong, the combination of both makes the biggest difference, but diet is key!
@audri- I have always had a lot of energy. As a kid, I used to drive my mom nuts. One minute I was asking to bake cookies, the next minute I had made cookies, brownies, cakes and RC bars! LOL Sooo yes, I move quickly and have a lot of energy. Just today, one of my fav yoga teachers said, "you are so intense when you practice." LOL It made my day and then I read your post and thought, "yup, i am have oodles of energy!"
Bikram I think has calmed me down, but given me more energy? Does that make sense? I sleep less, eat less, hardly drink and in general am very healthy. I am not filled with anxiety, stressed and don't let the little things bother me anymore. If you can calm yourself down and just breath in a 105-110 degree room with 40% humidity, sweat dripping and stinging your eyes, having other's people sweat flung on you, while balancing on one leg ON YOUR PERIOD, you pretty much learn to calm down ANYWHERE!
All yoga is Hatha yoga, including Bikram, but Vinyasa is a type of flow, a lot of sun salutations. I dunno, Bikram is so different. I recommend giving it a go if you can. Most studios have a trial of 7-10 days of trying it. You wil be tired, or energetic, or hungry or not hungry at all depending on what your body needs. But it's typical to be really tired afer working new muscles, while your mind is doing something new!

The trick is... to keep going. It's yoga practice, not yoga perfect, ya know?
I choose Bikram because it works my muscles and tissues from head to toe, detoxes my body, i great for your skin, regulates cholesterol, helps you lose/maintain weight, and works all your organs. I like being able to heal my body without medications!

No thyroid medicine for me, I do yoga. No cholesterol meds for me, I do yoga... I mean, really. It's great!
@MissSMcc- Yoga will TOTALLY help you with your balance! I didn't have great balance before and now have great balance! NOt as good as some people who have done it for 10 years, but I mean< i can totally tell a difference!

It takes time and practice. While I don't fall down out of nowhere, I am, or was, known to be a klutz. Walking into things, tripping, getting bruises that I dont' remember and dropping things... A LOT! Then yoga happened, and I don't really do that stuff anymore! LOL Wow, i never even thought of that until you asked that question!
WHat I love about the Bikram Yoga, is that unlike other types of yoga, (especially Americanized POWER yoga done in clubs or whatever) they are ALL basic beginner's postures that are NATURAL RANGE OF MOTION. When I did some other yoga classes, I liked them, but I hate downward dog and am so happy we don't ever have to do it! LOL
Well guys it's Monday which means BIG things for me. LOL I have two yoga classes, an hour cardio and house cleaning to do! LOL My husband helped out a bit and did the stairs and the kitchen which means all I need to do is roomba, dust, steam the floors and do oodles of laundry! I swear, laundry should be my middle name! Does anyone else feel that way?!?!?!
Sooooo, what is YOUR plan of attack this week? For me, I'm cutting out nuts for 5 days. WOW that will be hard, but ehhh, I just want to try it!

Also, doing 15 push-ups every night!
Oh and March 31st will mark my 90th day of yoga in a row!!!!

EXCITED to be done with this challenge, my body is sore sore sore!

Good day Everyone!!!!!!!
