I hear ya, Jackie, but I'll be happy with my .4 lb. loss if you'll be happy with your .5 lb. loss. Deal? The way I started looking at it is that two years ago it probably would have been a .4 lb. gain in one week (or more!).
Dana, the new core plan is where you don't have to count points or weigh food (you eat until you are satisfied--physically, not emotionally, if you know what I mean!) or journal, although you still have 35 flexpoints a week to use. There is a list of healthy food to eat and a list of foods that you would need to include in your 35 flexpoints. For example, I had oatmeal today and I put 1/2 Tbl. of maple syrup on it. The oatmeal was considered "core," but I counted the 1/2 Tbl. of maple syrup as .5 flexpoints. For lunch I had tomato soup (non-creamy), and a salad with 1 Tbl. of light dressing. I had to count the dressing, but not the soup or salad.
So far it's going well. We'll see what the scale says next week.
