Once again I am letting work get in the way of taking care of myself. Until I resolve that issue, consistent weightloss will remain a struggle. Bad habits will keep sneaking back in.
Martine, I thought the same thing about kettlecorn the first time I had it. It was actually made at a fair or something the kids and I went to years ago and it was made there in front of us in an actual kettle. But this stuff is Indiana brand (I think) and the flavor is salty sweet so it's the best of both worlds unfortunate for me because I really like it. I did find a bag of sea salt flavor at Dollar Tree that wasn't bad (wasn't too salty at all) it was just right (again may not be the best new discovery for me) and regardless of what you're doing you still get back to your workouts, GO YOU

I too have a good day then a bad couple or few days ... I too think it may just be work and lack of rest related, smh.

millie I weigh daily in the morning. I've been doing it for years. The fluctuations don't bother me ... I know when I get on the scale whether it is going to be good or bad. Maybe if it bothered me more like it use to I've be where you are now in the 150's which is where I'd like to be Do what feels good to you

Trina, sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family Trina I so need to be more conscious of my diabetes, smh. Oh and that is exactly what my husband and I did when we bought the lemon oreos ... they didn't last at all Oh my goodness snow It was 43 degrees this morning when I went to work. I think I was in shock when I got in the car

Thanks Curvy I love your outlook, perspective ... I feel the same way. I wish I could setup some kind of plan for this journey and stick to it. I'm not sure what it's gonna take for me to fully get back on track. ....

My weight has been up and down like yours Joe.

I think I bought some back coffee yesterday. About 2-3 hour after I drank it my stomach went crazy ... I woke up this morning to 2.7lb loss thanks to that coffee then my son and his friend wanted to bond s they took me to CiCi's ... that blew that loss for sure

loveofmylife001 we barely escaped the snow yesterday but it was bitterly cold. Today temps are going up and they announce sunshine all week. Stay warm out there.

Bookmark you did go to the gym despite "not feeling it" and you seem to be consistent with that, that's great! What are you doing in terms of diet? You've done great so far, don't let setbacks hold you back from reaching your goals.

Rennie like you I weigh daily and I really try to not let fluctuations bother me. Some days it's easier said than done.

I usually go in to work early when I have the afternoon/evening shift but not today. I went for a 3km walk with Loki to the park and it's so calming, despite the cold weather this morning. Then got some chores done, supper made and I'm now just relaxing. Work can wait.

Good morning Everyone ...

Bookmark if I could just get my behind to the gym it would make a BIG difference for me. So yourself for effort. You are still doing something whether you feel it or not. You are DOING IT!!!

Trina it's cold and raining here today. This weather is interesting but oh well I like sweaters and jackets anyway (with this body). My Auntie turned 88 in March. She is such a blessing to us all. She is definitely the glue to this family. Still driving and running errands. She wants to everything on her own but it's too many of us to allow that. We have to catch her though or she'll just do I'm home today ... I stayed up late 10ish ... haven't done that in a bit. I stayed in bed till almost 10. I still feel like I could sleep longer but at 7 when I need to go to bed I won't want to Thanks for the dust I had a smoothie for breakfast ... I so wish there was a tropical smoothie near me. I used an avocado myself for the first time . I think I had asked you about them before but never got around to buying one. Tropical Smoothie has an Avocadolada smoothie that is out of this world. I attempted to make it but I didn't have the pineapple or the lime and my spinach and kale weren't the greatest so I had to pick through it to find the better pieces but anywho I opted for healthy and did my best with what I had

Martine, you got it in this morning, YAY you I feel so lazy when I'm home. Sometimes I wish I lived in a studio. We really need to declutter here. I need to sift through my clothes and get rid of everything I don't wear. The only thing I've done this morning other than make my smoothie is clean the kitchen floor ... why because I spilled an entire cup of coffee on it other than that I have done nothing oh I did get my laundry out of the dryer . What time do you have to be at work?

Alicia, Curvy, Jill, Joe, Kukkie, VickieLou

Where's Angie, DayDreamer, imthegoddess, I know I'm missing a lot of people ... I can't remember all of the user names at the moment. I hope you all are doing well

The scale was up 1.9 this morning but I knew it. I had pizza for dinner and one cinnamon thing from CiCi's.

Rennie I really love Tropical Smoothie I think that I'm going to make me a smoothie for breakfast tomorrow. It will be a nice change. I've never had avocado in a smoothie before. I will have to google the recipe and try it one day. I know what you mean about not doing a whole lot this morning, I haven't either lol. It's just one of those days. After my walk with Hazel and came in a sat right in front of the tv lol. I'll be heading to work soon, ugh. I think I really need a vacation. Everything and everyone is annoying me lol. I don't like to feel like that lol. It may because TOM is on it's way lol

LOL Trina, me too but it can be so expensive (the downfall of healthy) My smoothie wasn't that great and the calories added up to 647. It's not nearly as much in an Avocalada and wasn't as tasty either .... but a healthier choice I still haven't done anything and before I know it my day will be over I need a vacation also. Ha and I have many days like that where everything and everyone seems to pluck my last nerve. I just stay to myself It's my quiet time

Good Morning Everyone

I hope that everyone is having a fantastic week so far It's such a beautiful day today Hazel and I did our 3 miles this morning. I'm ready for the weekend lol Only two more days. The only thing about the weekends is the snacking I have really got to stop that, but it's like I give myself permission to do so I'll get it together one day lol

Rennie I think once the weather gets a tad bit warmer I'm only going to drink smoothies for breakfast and lunch. I do better in the summer with my eating and I don't need so much of the solid foods.

S-7 hours
E-10,000 steps
B-Fiber One Cereal, banana & coffee
L-High Fiber Burrito
D-Spinach Salad w chickpeas

Have a great day everyone

Rennie Have you tried adding Flax seeds or Chia Seeds to your smoothies? I love them both and use them in my Oatmeal. It's very filling because of the Fiber content.

Trina do the chia seeds grind up well? I have an issue with clumps, pieces, etc. I actually have both so I will try it out. I've used the flax seed mill before. I'll keep you posted.

Rennie The Chia Seeds that I have are so finely ground that you can barely see it in the oatmeal. But if you have the Flax Seed I would definitely start adding that to your daily meals. It really helps. I actually made some Cranberry muffins this past weekend with the Flax Seeds Meal, they were so delicious

loveofmylife001 and Rennie I tried adding flax seeds to cereal and things like that and I never got used to it. Hope you are in good spirits.

JB1975 down to 208.8 from 215 is amazing. You got right back to it. Through all the craziness, please keep taking care of yourself.

I'm on plan this week but no movement on the scale. Looking forward to nice long walks with Loki in warm sunshine in the next couple of days.
