The month of May will be a new start for me ... wow I originally started May 27, 2010 ... so six years and I am still at it WOW just wow.

Hey everyone, quick check in. Stone hasn't passed so more than likely I will be going in for surgery on Tuesday. Part of me is glad I haven't had to pass it because that would be extremely painful! I also don't want surgery but downtime shouldn't be long. This has definitely hindered my weight loss some. I was hoping to be at 210 by Mother's Day, I'm at 214.8 right now and I really don't think I'm going to lose that in just over a week. Haven't really been sticking to plan cuz I haven't really been able to eat, yesterday was the first day in a week I could eat anything substantial. Drinking has been fine but food not so much. I'm also not able to work, had to take medical leave which is rough with just my hubby working but hopefully I will be back to work next weekend! Hope everyone has a great start to May!

Happy May Day friends!

Can't believe it is May 1 already! This is going to be an odd/bittersweet/challenging month for me. Mid-May I am headed back to Nebraska along with my siblings to clear out our childhood home. Mom passed in 2001 and dad passed last February. It's already sold and the new owners will take possession at the end of May. It will be hard physically and emotionally and I'm grateful I have my siblings to work along side of me. We're going to be really busy and while it is my first priority I do wonder what impact it will have on my weight. If this was any ordinary month I'd shoot for 199 lbs., but knowing what's ahead I'll be satisfied to make it to 205 lbs. or at the very least not gain while I'm away.

Wishing everyone a wonderful Sunday and a May to remember

Wishing everyone success this month. I have gained for the third month in-a-row, I am very concerned but moving forward. Had a good 3km walk this morning and eating on plan so far today.

curvynotlumpy I will be sending positive thoughts your way as you and your siblings will go through your old family home.

Rennie thank you soooo much once again for starting this new thread. Looking forward to seeing you back more often.

Here we go again. I can't believe it's May already. Two months until I head home for Summer, so I really want to keep up/increase my progress. I found tracking calories last month, and weekly weigh ins, to be helpful, so that's the pattern I'll follow again. I'm aiming for fifteen pounds this month, and to stay below 2200 calories max each day (though aim for lower) in order to manage that. My drastic yo-yoing last month slowed my progress, I'm sure, so my main aim is to reduce that.
