Wannaskip- 60lbs is awesome. I am glad you are seeing the doctor about your thyroid issue.
I worked all weekend 12 hour nights and got on the scale after sleeping some today and 239.4. I am going to stick around for a couple more days just to make sure it stays. I worked out hard at the gym tonight just to make sure but pretty happy with this weeks results.

Gosh everyone has flown thru this thread and here I am lagging behind... I hope that doctor can figure it out.. But I am glad for you all Flying Thru!! WooHoo!!

I am back down to 246.5 after being up to 248 yesterday... Just like a rubber bouncy ball... I can only hope that the whoosh happens soon!

Good afternoon all! I am still fairly new to this forum and would love to join here. I am at 243 right now so hopefully I wont be here for long but wanted to get to know everyone now before we move down I try and weight only once a week since everyday makes me crazy. I also woe overnights so I don't weight until 10pm on Fridays. Good luck to everyone!

SouthernBell02 Come on in! You are so close to the 230's.. but I am glad that you stopped in here for a few days (or hours! LOL)

Me... last 3 days: Down 1.5, up 2 lbs, down 1.5 lbs, up 1 lb today.... You know... I eat the same thing everyday... so its not the food,... Welcome to BIZARRO WORLD here! LOL All I can do is keep puching on and I will.... I really want to be in the 220's as then Onderland is a posibility and not a distant goal.!

Hey there everyone. I've been on an up, up, down, up, up, up, down kind of momentum lately (apparently cutting my calories by half to start did nothing), but on Monday I started a ketogenic (ultra low-carb) diet and this morning I was down 5.3 pounds from Monday which puts me at 248.1 and into this group! I'm so excited to be into the 240's and hopefully I'll keep moving quickly downwards.

Hi everyone!! I feel like I haven't been on here in soooo long, well it's been a week I guess. I had a little family vacation to my uncle's farm, although I think I worked harder there than I do normally - he likes us to all help out and now I think I need another vacation!

Maybe all that hard work is why I lost 3lb this week despite sampling some of my aunt's lovely cooking. I definitely had a lot less of it than I have in recent years and I guess it's all fresh and not processed but I still felt like I indulged!

So, I'm down to 241lbs, which is a total of 22lbs lost since July 1st and I have a mini goal this week which is to get to 25lbs lost, and that means IŽll be in the 230s and off to another thread - mixed emotions about that one but I think all you guys should be in there very soon, and people from here have already moved on so I know there'll be some familiar faces.

Well done to everyone who has lost this week, I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and gets a little vacation if you can!!

Alright, ladies and gents. As of waking up this morning, I'm 245.2. I've been stuck in the 240's for like, six months now [ever since I quit smoking!] and I'm more than ready to kick those last five pounds' butts. Goal for the rest of this month is to work out and get this done!

Tentatively peeking in to say Hi

This thread has felt nearly impossible to get to. I've pretty much regained and reloss all of the 250s at least once since July 1st. Hated the yo-yo. I've swapped to a whole foods based diet and the weight is melting off. I still can't believe I've gotten here. So just saying hello, and hoping tomorrow stays down

Panda, mjmelwel and NAGAZIM! Woo Hoo Come on in!

My scale finally is down - took 3 1/2 weeks... patience is a virtue.. but hard on the mind! Down to 245... the 240's are now in their 5th week... I shoulda been outta of this thread weeks ago.. But my losses only seem to come 1 week out of the month Sigh as I don't and haven't had TOM in 6 years... strange what the body does... but almost on the south end of the 240's now.. just need 1/2 lb.. 12 lbs away from 1/2 way on my journey too... That makes me happy to think about... I am looking forward to that goal!..

Way to go wannaskipandlaugh. I am just amazed today. It's the third day in a row that I've been down and so far this week I've lost 7.4 pounds. This ketogenic diet is obviously the key. I'm at 246.1 today so it looks like I'm here to stay for a while and not going back. Gotta stay diligent with this weekend coming up! Have a great day ladies!

mjmelwel - I'm at 248.8 today. So I think I'm here for a bit. & I feel the same about this whole foods eating I'm practicing currently. The more veggies go in, the more weight is falling off. I'm amazed.

Wannaskipandlaugh - congrats on your loss! I felt pretty stuck in the 250s. Pretty sure I lost every lb twice there. Just keep swimmin'. You're doing amazingly!

Nagazim I was dying to see where you'd be at today! I'm so happy to see you in the 240's for a second day in a row. Way to go!

I really can not wait until I can transition some more carbs into my diets and go more whole foods, but for now keto is working really well for me.
