Hi everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful mothers day. I went out of town for a couple of days, sans technology. I am at 262.2 which is pretty good for a weekend in Solvang. (Danish community, with LOTS of pastries to be had) Remarkably, I enjoyed, without going overboard. We will see what the scale looks like tomorrow. I really hadn't heard about it taking a couple days to show up on the scale. I just wanted to check in before getting homework done. It looks like everyone is doing really well. Have a great night everyone!

Well, I have had a bit of a whoosh. I didn't post it yesterday, because I honestly thought it was a fluke. But apparently not, because yesterday and today I weighed 251.5. I was shocked. But happy shocked.

Down .4 since Saturday's check in.
Which is amazing since I had Mother's Day lunch at my mom's house. Cheese lasagna, garlic bread, salad, and a brownie with ice cream!!!! I knew ahead the plan for lunch was so had a small breakfast and had a small dinner to balance that out. Now I am 3.6 away from 50 pounds. My son's graduation is 3 weeks today. I feel cautiously optimistic that I will make the graduation goal!!

onagain1- woo hoo! I love when the whoosh is not a fluke!!! You are almost "outta here" on this thread.

vdander24- good luck with your weigh in!

Teagan- I do a similar thing too. When I lose x amount of weight I will try to pick that amount up in a bag of dog food and can hardly do it! It's an amazing feeling!

good luck everyone! Summer will be here before we know it.

belovedspirit- I have TurboFire dvd's, but for some reason, I just don't get motivated enough to do them. There's alwasys something going on, something in the floor, a mess to clean up, laundry to be done... I guess going to the gym is an excuse to get out of the house and such.

We are going to the gym tonight for some kids things and then maybe a half an hour of swimming for the kids. We shall see.

I know this is something I want to do, but with 4 kids, one of which is 3, is just hard to stay on track

It was the brand. There are many brands out there, but it was just one that I found on Google.

I'm really interested, so I'm going to do some more research and then do it. Our Whole Foods in an hour away, so I have to make that trip over the weekend.

OH, I did find a recipe for a Green Smoothie that sounds great. I'm going to start that next week as well.

Please please please take us all with you both I am so motivated to get to where you both are... I wanna I wanna Maybe I will be able to skip at that weight?! I sure am hoping.

Vdander I have heard of Solvang.. My Aunt lived in San Jose along time and she did talk about that place. OH when a town is noted for something.. that is temptation 100X fold. If you only ate alittle you are one strong person. I hope the scale rewards you!

Beloved,Mara, Going2be, Joefla, and Ubergirl gosh we 6 are so close to the 250's so we need to enter that decade really soon.... I know we can and then some real happy campers will be heard here. (US) ( I hope I did not leave anyone out.. I am sorry if I did)

Beautiful night here in Fla. It is upper 70s and dry ahhhhh My poor parents are freezing in Quebec City (tho I hear it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world) and their blood is really thin (older too) But I hear that there is a BIGTIME warmup for the northern states.. Oh I hope it just feels good on your skin.. Summer is coming.

Onto Hump Day tomorrow and closer to Friday Yipee Skipee lol

Yup! Down to 263 today in spite of 5 days of travel and restaurant meals! And I should still shed a pound or two of water weight from the airplane!
Let's keep on going!

And congrats to the ladies who will be leaving us soon!
