- my neighbor/friend who was in a car accident felt well enough to try to go to work (too soon I think)Grateful she's doing better

+ was able to spend a couple of hours working outside yesterday

+ a quiet day with no Mill accounting hassles

+ met KathyD at the store and we will get together for coffee - have not seen her in three years

+ Golf tournament is cancelled so I don't need to make lasagna for 20

+ D. cancelled for gym so I can go when I want instead of being stuck in the carpool

+ a rainy day with no appointments - I can cook and sew!

+ Jazz has not escaped from the yard for a week - we may have fixed the problem

+ lovely bonus gold and blue day yesterday

+ met Heather's new puppy and got to cuddle and breathe in puppy breath

+ the sun is shining despite another day of predicted rain - I'll take it

+ got a new chair for my sewing table - my back will be happy

+ received several nice donations for the silent auction Thanksgiving Saturday

+ dinner party at Heather's tonight - always fun!

+ started sorting and discarding books - been avoiding that task for years

+ love my new lamp with the glass base full of apples

+ been sleeping until 7 AM lately - so much better than before 5 on dark mornings

+ front perennial bed is lovely with shades of magenta and mauve

+ looking forward to testing eight dogs for work as therapy pets this afternoon
