Ruth... yes, those tofu hot dogs were yuk, I agree... I am going to try chicken hot dogs.

- DH and I got part of the stairs to the deck and yard redone.

- nice fire last night

- cool weather - I really slept in (very rare for me - 7:30)

- Mom is coming over for lunch today

- backyard umbrellas - sure make it even nice to sit outside on a very sunny and/or warm day.

+ found the location of the dog-park in Brockville - Jazz will love it

+ a killing frost to the north of us has missed our valley

- helped DH complete the repair on the deck with only minimal ouchies to my back.... yay

- joyful neighborhood gathering last night for the twins 6th birthday

- two separate families mentioned that they felt like DH and I are the neighborhood gramma and grandpa to their children. I love that.

- took some pretty pictures of my dish gardens - I'll compare after they grow and fill in.

- city has curbside yard waste pickup that they compost

* hubby was home all weekend which is odd but turned out good.

+ Board meeting went well - finances not as bad as I predicted

+ Anna admitted to me her worries about her health - she is convinced she will die by 85

+ nice chat with my sister who is off to Iowa to visit her DD who just moved there for her job

+ so glad my neighbour Cathie is retiring and will be around more

+ pink and green quilt is finished and ready for labelling and delivery next week

+ enjoying the convenience of my freezer stash of prepared meals

+ remembered to issue Mill salary cheques as I'll be away Thursday

- had the carpets cleaned yesterday - amazing how it 'brightens' up a room.

- I have done my exercises for three days in a row and have eaten sanely for two... I am grateful for the willingness

- I accidentally left the lights on my car when Mom went into the bank. It 45 minutes and my battery went dead. I am grateful that AAA came in 10 minutes and gave me a charge!
