- I am getting all fired up about buying American made products whenever possible (our economy needs it dearly) I heard yesterday that if everyone bought only one Christmas gift that was made/manufactued in the USA it would have a very positive effect on our econnomy

- DH is with his buddies for some deserved golf and cards

+ quickie HA1C yesterday at the clinic - still good news

+ got several quilts pinned for quilting at the meeting yesterday

+ only one quilt to trim and bind on my "at home" list

+ a day of t-storms ahead so I plan to stay in my comfy home, hoping the power doesn't go out

+ my Disney who is terrified of storms but calms a bit when I comfort her - she's a Hurricane Katrina rescue with a long memory

+ gave away another wheelbarrow full of tomatoes

* I can take the train to the soccer game
* My weight is still going down at least a little every day

- all of our college football teams won yesterday - OSU, MSU & USC - we are all happy

- it rained all night two days ago... the gardens aren't droopy any more
