Good Morning All,
I know it's been awhile since I last posted including my vacation time. We had a great time in Florida and I didn't do too bad. Thanks everyone who offered advice. I did go off plan more than I expected but I don't regret it. I ate typically one meal a day that was up there in calories, carbs and fat and had two drinks and one desert(a really good key lime pie slice that I shared with my kids). All told I can't complain because I had a great time and the scale hasn't been too mean so far. In fact I am down from my last recorded weight, even though TOM is here. Nicole, I also lose with TOM but a few days after or even a week after my weight either freezes or goes up and I have to chalk it up to residual TOM effect.
Sorry ladies for the long post but I thought I'd catch you up. I haven't had time to read yet but I going to do that now so I can rejoice in how well you've all done. Despite what the scale says I have been having trouble getting back on plan. I have been watching what I eat but I am still doing little cheats here and there and I know it's going to catch up with me so I need to truly get it together so I can continue to lose and reach my goal. Also I set a surgery date for end of November and I'd like to be much closer to my goal when I have this done to be in better shape for the recuperation.
Thanks for reading and now I'll go do the same now.
Well I weighed in at 239.2lbs this morning! That's 10 pounds this month! I am a little worried that I will have a residual TOM gain since I tend to lose during TOM like karmich and I have only been weighing for a month so I don't know if I'll have a gain post TOM.
Everyone is doing great. Have a fabulous OP weekend!!!
I've had a great day today, even though I'm not getting any love from my scale. I got my lift from my podiatrist this morning and I finally feel like I can stand up straight and not walk with a hitch. It's fabulous! I think that and continuing to do my physical therapy exercises are going to help a lot with my "bad" leg.
My podiatrist's office just happens to be near a couple of plant nurseries, so I went on a buying spree. It was finally cooler today, so I spent a few hours in the yard planting, which I just love to do. I enjoy the physical exertion and the end result.
First time under 213 this morning- I weighed in at 212.4. Trying my best to keep it there til my official weigh-in on Sunday
Today I am baking a bread from scratch as part of a trial for a cook book in progress. Before I started losing, I'd easily eat half myself. Now I'll just have 2 pieces tonight and hope the rest of the house eats the rest :P
Sorry for not posting for a while - still stuck at 155 and have been since July 4! This past week I ate off plan a bit on Sat, Sun and Wed so I'm sure that's why I've stayed the same weight. Didn't go crazy but I'm sure I ate an extra 1000 on all 3 days! I'm still working out like a maniac and have actually gone down a full pant size even though I'm the same weight.
Hey everyone! I'm still holding at 151.6. I'm hoping to keep seeing lower numbers, but I had previously been stuck at 155 for a long time so we shall see.
down to 239.8 this morning! That was a very nice surprise!
Yesterday morning I was up 1.2 to 242.8 but I knew it was water retention because I had only had 5 hours of sleep and had been on plan, drunk all the water, and did my exercise on Friday. Yesterday I went slightly over on calories, but I drank my water and exercised. Reward: drop of 3 pounds! Glad to get rid of all of that excess water!
I've stayed at 138.2 this week, which is fine with me since I haven't been putting in the effort to eat at a deficit. I haven't been overeating, either, so that's a good thing.
I bought new sneakers yesterday and tried them out on a long walk this morning - they're fabulous! I may never take them off.
