everybody..

Sorry I haven't been able to post much...doing 2 classes at the gym most days, then going doing things for Mother, myself and Church..not much time.
Plus when I am on the IE..I've been reading motivational quotes to keep my mind focus on what, where I am going w/my weight and life Issues.

WI@ 151.4 today,up 2 lbs for the month so far..after my branching out moment at the start of the month.Even though I didn't branch out and eat bad stuff, just learned about some healthy food that cause cravings for me and really..trying to work out all that.. I needed to fill/strengthen my mindset with nothing but Motivational/inspirationing things. Order has been restored!!

Now,Really working on only eating when I'm hungry.Come dinner time I'm not hungry. It's like I have to force food down working on making other meals smaller and see how that goes..spread them out or something.

Thanks Diana! I know I've got a long road ahead but I am looking forward to getting to goal and learning the maintenance side of this.

Today's weigh in was 258.2. Stayed the same, which rocks since we went out to Golden Corral for lunch yesterday. Buffets are not fun for folks trying to lose weight! But no gain...I'm happy with that.

Can y'all believe the month is almost over? Holy cow where did the summer go? School starts back here in a couple of weeks...and my 4 year old will be starting Pre-K! Oh wow...they grow up so fast!

Good Morning, Everyone!

I'm hoping that yesterday was my last day of TTOM (it was day 11) and does not stick around another day. We'll see.

Calories for yesterday: 1495 +
Weigh In: 149.4
Down: .4

Healthymewannabe Keep up the great work. You obviously did well at the restaurant, yesterday.

Healthyme, you're doing great!

Ona, I'm glad to see you're doing so well.

Diana, I bet you're looking forward to menopause. I was so relieved to put TTOM behind me!

I weighed in at 137.8 today, which is astonishing considering I came thisclose to having a major binge yesterday. I ate like the crazy person I used to be (still am?) but tried to abate some of the damage with a lot of exercise. We'll see what the scale says tomorrow.

And this morning, I realized my digital scale has the wrong height (I got it back when I thought I was 5'5" - if only!) so I corrected it, and my body fat % went up 2 points - boooo! I know these scales aren't that accurate anyway but it's still annoying.

Who's going to start the August thread?

Good morning everyone! I think this is the first Monday in a while that I did not weigh in at more then Sunday! My weight was the same this morning at 148.4, which is good. I did enjoy the food at my aunt and uncles. They had pork tenderloin, homemade potato salad, bread and cheese, sliced veggies and ice cream. I managed to somehow eat a slice of pizza from the night before out of their fridge. I hoping the scale does not go up tomorrow.

Hey Ona good to see you!!!

Steph congrats on the weigh in, hopefully it sticks around.

Diana I hope tom is done visiting you!

Healtymewannabe sounds like you were able to not go overboard at the buffet. Sometimes staying the same in weight is ok.

I am back after a vacation (staycation), during which I chose not to weigh myself and just enjoy my time off from work. I knew I would pay a price, but it's a choice I made. So back to the real world and let's get on with it.

aka8941, you're getting so close to 200, keep it up!

Steph I am ready for something, although I don't know what! I'm scared to wish for something because I might end up in a worse situation.
Stay strong against the binge. Have you ever read this book? http://www.amazon.com/Brain-over-Bin.../dp/0984481702 I am reading it now. It seems to be written from a different prospective.

Domlacha Good job this weekend!

AKA How are you feeling from the accident? Congrats on the pound.

Martine Welcome back! I have been known to really enjoy a staycation.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Calories for yesterday: 1470 +
Weigh In: 149.2

I can start the new thread for August, if you want. I'm not very good at catchy phrases/names/titles, etc. Any name suggestions for the new thread?

So it's over....and I've lost 20lbs!!! Really sticking to it and it totally paid off.
I'm ready for August, so if you make a new thread I'll be there!!
I guess just name it the same as this just August..easiest in my opinion.

Good morning, folks! Hope everyone is doing well.

Congrats Viking! Amazing!

Aka -- what a great last few days you've had!

Steph -- it's funny how we never completely leave that crazy person behind.

Well, I'm on my last two weeks of summer vacation. It surely has flown. Hubs has a business trip to the beach and I'm tagging along. We're heading out tomorrow. I'm sooo looking forward to it.

Holding steady at 216. ready to see some movement!

Weighed in at 137.2 this morning. I'm still skeptical.

I went for a walk last night and felt very slow - I'd had too many carbs, it was hot and humid. But I checked my time after the first lap and it was great. And my second lap was just as good. Maybe it was because I seemed to always be walking into the wind, even when I changed direction!

See you all in the August thread.

I was getting ready to post the new thread and saw this one. http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/100-...gh-thread.html I'm confused. Is this the new thread? Someone let me know, so I can get my stuff started. If not, I can start a new one.
