But I know, it's seriously kinda crazy the way my body is. I feel like I'm evenly distributed but with emphasis on the legs and arms. I have to watch it on the fit of the leg in pants...if it's a smaller leg then I have to go with a 20 and just have it looser in the waist. All of my dresses/skirts are 18's with a couple 16's in there too depending on the cut/brand. It's really crazy though, compared to most people at my weight. Btw, I'm excited about your upcoming weigh-in! I'm sure we're all biting our nails in anticipation! |
I must carry my weight all wrong. I wear a 20 at 251, and if I am honest about my height, I'm 5'11". It's all in my waist, as well. The legs are huge, the waist just fits. I've also got no butt, no matter how many squats I try and do. I guess I'm a reverse hourglass.
251.6 this morning in spite of ignoring my diet all week. Very pleased. I'm back on the diet now that my mom's surgery is done. I am not using the wait for the lymph node biopsy results as an excuse. Eating well will help me handle the stress. |
Funny how the sizes are. My scale is still not moving but I was absolutely thrilled to wear a size 22 jeans this weekend. With no elastic in the waist at all. At my highest I was in a 30 with elastic on the sides.
I'm the same height and weight as you LebenAlles and can't even imagine ever wearing an 18 anything! |
Congrats on the 50 pounds LebenAlles! Sizes are so wacky - I started as a loose 24W/snug 22W and am now a tight 18W/comfy 20.

Yeah sizes can be so varied from person to person. I think it's beautiful that we're all so unique. :)
Well tomorrow is my big weigh in day. Why am I a bit nervous? LOL I'm going to take measurements and do a round of pictures in addition to hopping on the scale. I think the biggest highlight will be trying on smaller clothes and them actually fitting! I'm going to retire my size 24W pants like athletes retire their jerseys LOL. |
*New decade dance* 259.4!
|
250.8 this morning. Apparently the extra weight was all water, because I was in the bathroom every 2 hours, even overnight.
I tried on everything in "Outgrown Clothes Bin #4 - size 18-22" :o. I have Sonoma (a Kohls brand) pants in an 18 that are sliding off my hips, and I have Lee's in a 22 that don't come near to meeting so I can zip them. Clothes are weird. |
Sounds like a great week for lots of us - Congrats all around! And angie, I'll be checking in tomorrow to hear your good news. You have to post here before you leave us in the dust, got it!?! :)

249.8 this morning. I am in shock! I'll stick around here for a day or so more to be certain this isn't a fluke, but the ego boost to see the 240's today was amazing.
Congrats to all the losers this week. We are really on our way! |
You guys....I COULD NOT EVEN BELIEVE MY EYES when I got on the scale this morning! I have a balance scale so I set it to my last weight of 252 and I inched it down one pound at a time. I was expecting it to stop in the low 220's but as it kept going.....I was practically in tears. It stopped at 201.75!!! Almost 2 pounds away from ONEDERLAND???? WHAAAAAAAAT??!!! There is no way. I have lost 50.25 pounds in 3.5 months. I screamed so loud I woke up the rest of the house! It was more than I expected and I'm extremely overwhelmed right now. I put on new clothes and I look like a new person. Those 18 pants are too big LOL! I'm more like a comfortable 16. From a 24W? I need time for this to soak in! AAAAAAAAAHHH!! I'm so happy!!!!!
