- a healthy day yesterday - so so grateful for the willingness

- I got Olivia her birthday present. We are going to her 4th birthday party on Sunday. Olivia is my cousin's daughter. It was so fun to get something 'girly'. We have 6 little girls under six years old on my cul de sac. For them, it's all about princesses and Barbies. So, I got the Barbie with the puppies and a Disney princess art kit. So fun!!

- I 'spoke' with DIL yesterday via Facebook. She is feeling good and soon they will find out the sex of the new baby. (happy) GS wants a sister because 'he only likes girls'.

- online shopping - makes it so easy

- friends, family YOU ALL, fb, cell phone, internet, music

- crockpot

I am very grateful for the residents I work with. They have been very supportive and encouraging towards my weight loss. They have started calling me slim and bragging about me to their families. It feels good.

I am grateful for a good memory. I just did a long post in here and it didn't post. Maybe I should report this to a MODerator!

Morning!

I actually buy the HoneyCrisp right now at Costco. Not always the best place for produce, but a good price for out here and so far they have all been good quality.

I laughed about your mom starting to recycle! She inspires me to remember you are never to old to learn something new or change if you want to.

Now I want to know what your post was Ruth!

I am grateful...

...for finished a ton of homework yesterday.
...working on a quilt I haven't worked on in ages.
...getting some house cleaning done in prep for some holiday decorating.
...for a scheduled massage coming next week!
...that it didn't really snow like they said it would - but wow is it cold.
...that it is almost 2012 - I don't know why, but I am ready to be done with this year!

- yesterday was a healthy day... I am always thankful for that.

- I had so much fun yesterday. A bunch of friends gathered at Mimi's house and made garden art. We had a blast. Mimi served her 'famous' and delicious Cavatinni. I only took an half a cup full. I enjoyed each bite.

- Mom felt well enough to go to her apartment's Thanksgiving potluck dinner. I am so happy she went.

- willingness

- family, friends, YOU ALL, fb, internet, cell phone, music

- my grandson's smile - he is such a sillyhead

Hi Chloe and to a happy place in the Forum. Give your dear old dog a scritch behind the ears for me.

Today I am grateful for:
+ my warm and cozy house on this chilly and wet morning
+ Vic and Justin who worked at fixing my dog fence yesterday
+ an excellent bloodwork report - I am no longer considered diabetic!
+ Donna who was here when I fell yesterday and really looked after me
+ Doug who made sure all the heaters and lights at the Church were on timers for last night
+ line-dried sheets on my bed last night made for a great sleep
+ Aleve for my aches and pains this morning
+ pomeganates which always make me think of Christmas
+ a good first night for the Village Christmas celebrations
+ a more manageable day than yesterday

Good morning!

Ruth I am sorry about the fall but excited for your bloodwork! That has to be an amazing feeling to be out of constant risk of diabetes.

Beverly I am glad you had such a nice day too. It sounds like you are involved with your mom which is admirable.

This morning I am grateful for...

...clear skies! At least it isn't wet, now if it would just warm up!
...that I have planned a day just for me coming up Monday (it has been too long).
...my sister who is younger but who I am watching turn into an amazing adult every day.
...yesterday's vigorous housecleaning in prep for holiday decorating.
...that I didn't slip and fall on the sidewalk yesterday walking my dog!

I hope everyone has a healthy and a nice day planned. I have to admit, I am looking forward to the upcoming week. Family time and holiday spirit!

Forgot to add that I am grateful for Christmas stickers! I have been pretty hard on myself lately and trying to put up post-its to remind myself not to be too negative or obsessive. The Christmas stickers really make the post-its seem even more positive!
