I am becoming a number freak and I've always HATED Math. Between the scale and now Livestrong (net calories versus consumed calories WTH?!?!) I can't stop looking at them. I am MAKING myself stop though. Today I got up, weighed in, went for my walk, and then did nothing but post process photos (I'm a photographer). AHHHHH. Something creative was JUST what I needed to get my head out of the numbers game for awhile.

Although, now I have to do my Pilates and weights this afternoon. And that means putting them into livestrong. which will make me look at numbers again. :P

Okay, back for personals! I've never had so many losers for friends... Good job folks.

Rennie - You and I will have to have each others backs for our respective Thanksgivings this year. I'll actually be celebrating both as my cruise is a Thanksgiving Cruise (leaves the Sunday after Thanksgiving). That gain will be gone by next week...I think there is a lot of sodium in that weight.

Kiki -- Weigh in on whatever day works for you. I set up the dates for Thursdays because of the Thanksgiving theme originally, but people all have their own dates so aside from our last weigh in, it doesn't really matter.

Lin -- Your TG with the ex-inlaws sounds so nice! That's fantastic that you can all get along so well. That salad you had in Cleveland sounded fantastic by the way. Congratulations on your 2lbs for the week, that is very good. I'm starting to think about some fall/winter clothes in smaller sizes too. I got a great deal today on oxford type shirts for $12, so I bought one in pink and one in blue. I should have got white and grey too, then I'd basically be set for work, different shirt for each day.

Sarabrooke -- Welcome to the challenge!

Sweettreat -- Nice job on the 3lbs this week, great way to start off the challenge.

Envelope -- 4lbs this week is awesome, good job!

FutureThoughts -- Good job managing this week, I know you had some extremes so it's great that it didn't end up with you way over last week. Thanks for the encouragement, I'm feeling good about the way I'm eating right now and want to stay focused.

Mandy -- Congrats on your 1.7 this week!

SMSdreamer - 1.2 is great, you'll have some bigger week and some smaller weeks. I think 1.2 is quite respectable.

Wyllowbelle -- Nice job, over 4lbs in your first week, fantastic!

Sevencallmemom -- You too, you are rocking this challenge! Congratulations on a great week.

Where are you sailing from, Angie? I've got several of my favorite clients leaving from New Orleans on Voyager of the Seas that same day. They really are a fun group, it would be great if you got to sail with them.

BTW... It is totally possible to go on a cruise and not gain (or... gasp... even lose a few pounds!). Just don't weigh yourself the day you get home, I usually give it a few days back on plan because you WILL be retaining water when you get home.

Hoping for a loss tomorrow, hoping even more that the loss will be enough for me to at least break even this week. I gained a bunch of weight camping last week - POSITIVE it was water weight - but it's still hanging on.

GREAT WEEK EVERYONE!!

Lin -- Congrats on making good choices while you were on vacation! And an EVER bigger congrats on making it to 75 lbs! You are doing great with this challenge.

Sara -- Never too late. WELCOME!!

SweetTreat -- GREAT JOB!

Envelope -- Nice loss this week!!

Angie -- Amazing week. WOO HOO! And NO...it AINT small! And yea, I never thought I'd be so proud so have such HUGE LOSERS for friends!

FutureThoughts -- Way to reel it back and still pull off a loss this week! Yahoo!!

Rennie -- Next week WILL be better! You CAN do it!

Mandy -- Nice job!

Dreamer -- Sweet loss girlfriend!!

Wyllow -- Nice loss and great job getting away from the numbers for a bit!

Trish -- Nice job this week!!

Well, I'm UP 0.9 for this week. I definitely struggled but not with staying OP -whew! Between camping and TOM water retention - I just couldn't swing a loss. I was DEFINITELY OP though and am certain of a continuing LONG-TERM downtrend. The good news...I'm 33% of the way to my goal weight and only 20% through the time frame so that means I'm WAY ahead of the game!

Dreamer -- You CAN do this!! Get your booty over here already!

Star -- Great loss this week girly! You are doing amazing!!

1 of the Luvs -- I'm sailing from Miami, we are going with Carnival but I can't remember the name of our ship just now. I think I'm going to try to stay low carb while we sail...I'll stick with my proteins and veggies as much as possible.

Jami -- Sorry the week didn't end as a loss overall, but you've got some great numbers going there!

It's gotta be either Glory or Valor... they both sail from Miami on Sundays.

Staying away from the bread has definitely helped me when we cruise. I also try to use the stairs as often as possible and hit the gym. I once lost 2 pounds on a 15 night cruise.

Today was weigh-in for me and I FINALLY broke my plateau... down 3.5 pound. I was 3 weeks at the same weight. I know there are lots of people who get stuck longer, but man, is it frustrating.

Hi everyone -

My company's intranet posts daily inspirational quotes...and today's was so fabulous, I just had to share! In fact, it's so good, I added it to my signature.
