Hi everyone!
So I had a really bad month and ended up, essentially, completely giving up on the weight loss. I'm going to get back into it now! Thankfully, I didn't gain back EVERYTHING, nor did I go above my starting weight (277.0).
Hopefully things will go more smoothly from this point on! On to the numbers:
New goal: 260 pounds (I figured I should lower it to account for the lost month...).
Weekly weighin
Challenge start: Jan1 = 240lb
Last weigh in: Mar5 = 225lb
This week: Mar11 = 225lb
ugh, no change. But I am on my 3rd week of actually exercising... walking 2.5 - 3.5 miles every other day. Even jogged a bit today. Hopefully that's what's impacting the scale. My eating hasn't been perfect, but not terrible! People say the scale gets messed up as you start gaining muscle, but how much could I be gaining in 2-3weeks???

I guess I've heard that when you work your muscles hard (like you presumably are at the beginning of an exercise program) they will retain more water. So it could still be a lean mass (water) increase masking fat loss even if it takes much longer to gain even a pound of actual muscle tissue.
^^ Aahhh, that makes sense. I keep telling myself my body will just take time to adjust and who knows what kind of crazy measures it's taking under this strange new thing called exercise... But it makes sense about the water. I'm fighting the urge to stop exercising because it's messing up the scale... the point is the be healthy! I'm updating measurements in a couple of days, perhaps that will be more favorable. Thanks for the feedback!!
Looks like everyone is doing well . . . I've had computer issues for the past week and had to go to the library to get on line, UGH and OH NO . . . anyway, that's fixed and I'm up an running again, thank goodness . . . ok, off to install, well reinstall my printer and then I should be up to snuff . . .
Well I am back up 1 pound to 164, UGH and OH NO . . . I have been thinking and when I started this journey in October I was losing steady then in early December (2 1/2-3 months) I got stuck for a couple weeks, that's when I joined 3FC and then it started dropping steady again, now it's another 2 1/2-3 months later and it seems the same thing is happening . . . so I'm just going to keep doing what I've been doing and it should pass, (I HOPE)
