EEEEEEEEEEe! EEEEEEEEEEEEE! (those are happy noises!

)

Okay ladies, so the scale finally tipped last wednesday, but I've been waiting for it to be consistent for several days now to claim it, so that's what I'm gonna do. Onderland, literally for the first time that I can remember!
Starting, December 26th - 213
Last week: February 6th - 203.5 (-1) ... first weigh in after getting back from vacation.
This week: February 13th - 197.5 (-6)
I am assuming that I was just having a lot of food / water weight hanging around when I got back making the scale look a little higher, and that the real fat loss was actually occurring a little more spread out over that full time period.
Checking my measurements today vs. February 2nd, the day I got back... 11 days of changes resulted in a 1" drop in the chest, 1.5" in the waist, 2" in the hips, 0.75" in the thighs, and 0.25" in the calf. I am honestly completely astonished at how much those measurements dropped over the last couple weeks, but I guess maybe working out has actually built up muscle or something like that.
This forum has really been inspirational, and this challenge specifically has been really key to the progress that I've made so far, so thank you all of you! Great job to everyone so far, let's all stay motivated! The weather is absolutely lovely here today (for Iowa, anyway!

), and now that I'm finally up on a Sunday afternoon I'm going to head out to the gym for a while, and maybe even go for a walk outside to take advantage of the above-freezing weather!
