I have been very busy and haven't checked in for a few days. I've been fairly good except for exercising. It has been brutally cold here and I just have lost my motivation. I need to get it back and I hope I can manage to go running tonight even though it is super super cold here.
I haven't run for a week :( I went over my calories one day this week, but not by too much. My weight has been bouncing around as it normally does and right now I'm about 1 pound up from my lowest. |
Today was a great day!
I ran a few miles in the bitter cold and was totally under my calories. :) |

Today I definitely went over my calories :(.
I meet up with someone to go shopping and we ended up at a thai restaurant and the noodle dish I ordered was huge. I have no idea how many calories, but I ate it all. I had a friend's b-day social event this evening at a restaurant and I ordered the grilled salmon. It came with a side of beans and rice and some fried platains. While it all was delicious, there is no doubt that the entire meal was well over 1000 calories. Incuding my oatmeal this morning for breakfast, I'd guestimate that I had 2500 or so calories and I usually try to stay around 1800. The good news is that I could have easily compounded the problem since I didn't end up drinking alcohol and I skipped out on going back to my friends house for B-day cake. My 2500 calories could have easily turned into 3000 or more. I didn't do very much exercise today beside a 30 minute walk. Tomorrow I want to do much better. I hope to run and I hope to do some very good foot choices. |

Calories today were probably on the high side. I'm not sure though.
breakfast was a big bowl of oatmeal (probably 300 cal). Lunch was a grape leaf wrap with baba ghanoush and fruit (800 cal?). Dinner was a lamb shwarma sandwich and a big bowl of fruit (900 cal?). I totally guestimate calories and could be wildly off. I want to hit around 1800 calories and the last couple of days I'm pretty sure I was close to 2000 if not over. Plus, today was a no-exercise day before it was pouring rain all day. |

I've averaged 1205 a day. I will say that it's been a fair old struggle, a lot of times I've been hungry. On the other hand, because I've upped my carbs, now at 42+%, I've been mentally able to cope with it. As of tomorrow, I get to add in 25 calories a day (count 'em!) back up to 1400 over Christmas, we'll see how that goes. |

I've been horribly sick, we had m ajor power issues and I've been running around like a one armed paper hanger. But I have been sticking to plan and am at a new low and twenty five pounds GONE! :) |

As you can see by my ticker, I'm finally into new territory and just 2.6 pounds from 180. :) Besides just a few high calorie days, I've been good this month. I'm trying my best to be at 180 or below by the first of the year. |
Hey everyone! Just checking in. I'm kind of excited today is 60 days On Plan.
wooooo! :D No cheats at all. I just don't want there to be a such thing as 'cheat' ........also, one bad day or even meal, for me can definitely be tragic! Going strong! :) Onwards to 90 days! |
Starting a new 30 days from today. This time I'm focussing on
1) gradually adding back up to 1400 (kinda scary) 2) maintaining at 1400 3) having a carb re-feed on December 28th. :) |
I'm still here...sorry I haven't been updating on this thread much lately.
Today is day 20 as I've started my new 30 days at the beginning of the month. Yesterday was a bit weird in that I ate much less than I am used to, but I just wasn't hungry and the thought of eating something "in case I get hungry" didn't appeal to me. I'm pretty sure I had like 1200 calories. I also ran in a 5k race and walked a couple of miles in total. I stayed on plan over the weekend and now I can fall back into my workday routine. There is a safety there in the structure of the work week which makes being OP easier. |
so day 20 was good. Calories around 1700-1800 and I went to the gym and jogged for 3 miles. This is the second day in a row that I ran and now I will take tomorrow off.
