Good Morning, Everyone!

TTOM is starting for me. I won't be looking for any major losses for the next few days. Hopefully, I will at least maintain. Worst case scenario 1-2 pound water weight gain.

Sunshine I hear you on the pound! The more you want it the farther away it seems.

Calories for yesterday: 1420 + Morning Joe

Weigh In: 192.8

Up: .4

10 - 255.6 -1 WOOHOO! I can't remember the last time I saw 255 on the scale! That means I'm just 3lbs away from losing my first 50lbs! Yahoo!!!

28 - 246.1 - *no change*
29 - 244.4 -1.7

I'm sick - really sick. I don't know what I have, but it had me in bed from 1pm last night until about 6pm, then I was up for an hour or so before I had to lay down again. My muscles were so sore I had to crawl to the bathroom. My throat is sore, I have sinus pain, and my whole body aches. I thought for sure I wouldn't see a loss because I barely drank any water yesterday. My husband is working from home today thankfully because I don't know what I'd do if I had to handle our very active 1 year old on my own. And I'm really bummed because I was going to go to Zumba with a friend this morning!

Good Morning everybody!

Another day, another 250 reading*sigh* But in reality I'm with calm.I no it won't last always, that I'm working hard,Eating clean everyday and watching my sodium intake everyday.I treat each day as if it was the first day that i started on this journey.
Went by my center this morning to weigh just to make sure the new scale i bought was on the up and up.The centers scale reading was the same as my new scale so i now know that my new scale does have other numbers than 250,251 and 252 cause those are the only numbers l've seen since i bought it
At times like these i fined comfort and peace in seeing how many inches I've lost, how much my BMI/BRI has come down, trying on clothes that i haven't worn in years and they fit now and when people see me telling me how good i look.Everything's gonna be alright.will fight on

179.6 moving slowly down but moving.
I've upped my calories since I was clearly not eating enough for the last few weeks though i felt full and not hungry at all. Added little changes here and there and we'll see how that works out.
Had a protein shake this morning and have to say, NOT a fan of the gritty texture so I'll be tweaking that as well. Might just need to switch to a new brand maybe.

I think though, a lot of my problem is that I've been so irregular in the bathroom. Been taking my metamucil like normal, but it's not working as of late. I don't know if I should change how much i'm taking (drinking more than enough water so that's not it either) or if I have to look into the dreaded world of stimulant laxatives or whatever they are called. I've never taken them before so I'll have to research those for sure.

Kristi - Hope youre feeling better! I know how draining it is with an active child and feeling like crap, takes everything right out of you

Diana - you are just doing so amazing! You inspire me

Ona Stay the course. Even if you don't lose any more this month, you've lost right at 10 pounds. That's awesome! To be honest, I've never even lost 10 pounds in a month.

Matilda Great job on the new low!

Kristi I feeeeeel your pain. I woke up with a sore throat yesterday, halfway through the day I had shivers, went to bed with hot flashes. I got progressively worse throughout the day. My entire body hurts and my face hurts and my head hurts and I didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I should have just called in sick but I decided to work from home and see if I could try to do something. I hate feeling helpless!

Sick + TOM = 0.4 gain for me, up to 197.2 - at this rate looks like I've lost nothing this month

to everyone.

Coondocks I take an herbal supplement called "Daily Cleanse" made by Nature's Way that really helps me in that department. It's actually a liver support supplement which I started taking for my cystic acne, but it does have fiber, specifically long strands of fiber which help move things along better than the ground up fiber you find metamucil. Or so I understand. It certainly has made me extremely regular. Like twice a day at the same time everyday regular.*

*Star is not a doctor, naturalpath, certified herbalist, Native American Healer, or Amazonian Witch Doctor. The extent of her medical knowledge comes from yelling at small children, "Stop! Don't Eat THAT! Spit it out NOW!" Which, in retrospect, might qualify her to be a diet coach. But she's not. She's just a Star trying to decrease her mass and therefore gravitational pull. So follow her advice at your own peril.

I use Gold Standard Whey Protein and they are not gritty at all. They mix well with a regular shaker glass or in a blender. 24 grams of protein, 4 grams of carbs and 120 calories a serving. GNC carries it and so does my local grocery store.
