Star -- I'm so happy to hear that your uncle's surgery went so well! Love your suggestion for the October thread. On the BMI thing, I'm very big boned too, wide shoes, big hats, that's me!

Akelly -- Don't lose heart, you've done really well while travelling, and this is just a small set back.

Sunshine -- Congrats on breaking through your plateau!

Diana -- I'm a similar height to you at 5'6. When my Dr. told me his goal for me was 160 I thought, holy crap, are you kidding me? But since I've been working at this I have secret goal of 145 for myself...that's what I weighed in the 11th grade, and I looked hot. I think what looked anorexic when I was 16 (24 years ago) is different from how people see anorexic today. I think at 160 I will be normal, 145 now I will still look normal but also smoking hot. lol I am secretly aiming for 'smoking hot'. Size-wise, I'd be a very happy camper in a 10 and ecstatic in an 8. Congrats on hitting your 100 lb milestone!!!

Ona -- Great week for you! Way to go

Kristi -- I fluctuate a great deal too at times. I think it's sodium or workout related in most cases for myself.

Coondocks -- I ate pickles this weekend too! Damn pickles, I will never succumb to their low calorie allure again (for now). Where are you going on your trip?

Vixsin -- Congrats on being 45 days binge free!! That's amazing!

Kukkie -- Enjoy your time with your friend. Your California goal is a great one, very exciting!

I am back! Work kicked my but on Thurs and Fri! No time to come back and read and post. This weekend was pretty low key. Not feeling like shaking it all around with exercise on my TOM! I guess I could have lifted, but I was really low energy this weekend.

I was hoping to see 200 by the end of this month, I have 4 days left. Maybe some of this bloat will go away before the 1st and will take me to that number??? That would be my next 10lb goal! ****wishing, wishing...eyes shut tight!*****

Looks like a lot has happened since Thursday!

Diana - Congrats on hitting the 100lb mark! What an amazing way to end this month!

AKelley- Don't worry, you will get past that plateau and keep chugging along like all of us. Sometimes I feel like everyone is just losing like crazy and I am stuck. It's like "Hey! Wait up guys!" but I look back and I see I am moving too...at my own pace.

Ona great job for the week I did have a wonderful time. I plan to make it down again but spend two days in one spot not one in each city. Hotels and 5 children it's crazy (you'd think we'd be or at least I'd be use to it) I think they'll all be near grown before I get it down pack

Diana congratulations on 100lbs down My lowest weight according to the BMI calculator 111 to 146 using that Better Ideal Weight Body calculator. I remember being 128 back in 1991 and to go back and look at those pictures is interesting. I have a nice sized head with a big face/cheeks so skinny is not cute. I look like a bobble head. I am shooting for 136 right now but like Ona said I'll see what I look like as I lose. 150 was my original thought but I still won't be out of the overweight range.

I use to eat sour pickles by the jar, with a red hot pickled sausage talk about sodium ... but oh so good. Can't find them out here but when we lived up north the ice cream/junk truck that came around would order then for me (8 yrs of having a truck at my door full of goodies I liked)

Eclipse this is how I feel also, you said it perfectly ---> I initially set my weight loss goal at 150, which will still make me technically overweight, because it seemed attainable at the time. Now that it's only 15 lbs away, I know I'll probably keep going once I hit 150 until I get to a weight I feel good at and believe that I can maintain.

Akelly ... these ladies will get you through any plateau, my goodness they have had my back more times than a few. If it weren't for them I would have surely given up. Keep doing what you're doing, you're doing great and this too shall pass

Well I've had a pretty interesting day, just seems like there isn't enough time in a day some times. Had to take the kids to school this morning we were so tired. Then a few errands, then had to write the Cub Scout news letter for the Pack meeting tonight (I know should have done it before today). Then more errands, had to take our oldest to work. I didn't use good time management today. Have to leave soon to pick up two other scouts, then to the pack meeting then gotta pick our oldest up from work. Can we just split me in half

I am up 1.8 from my low of 165 but that's OK. I know once I get it together maybe by Wednesday I will hopefully come back down. My eating hasn't been great today. Stomach out of order the most nutritious thing I've had today was some chicken salad. I'll try for a salad maybe, but I'm not really hungry. Water has only been 33.6ozs so far.

Diana -- I will try hard for both of us to be as smoking hot as possible. I think you can do yours on your own though!

LNoel -- I'm sorry to have distracted you with my Risotto talk -- whatever you do DON'T EAT IT...also, don't eat any pickles, they haven't been doing anyone any good either!

Love - Rennie (Love your name!) - You do need to be split in two! Hope your tummy feels better soon.

I was back at the trainer/gym today. She nearly killed me, BUT she got my legs so warmed up (aka jelly legs) that when I went on the treadmill I was able to go faster and at a higher incline than I ever have before. It really felt great, even though I was panting like a dog and sweating like a, well, you know...

Oy vay, what a day! Thanks everyone for the kind words and motivation.

So my girlfriend and I went out this evening. Originally the plan was to go for dinner, so I planned my eats for the day around that and then she changed it and said she just wanted to do coffee but as we were driving to coffee, she changed her mind again and said let's do dinner anyway. We ended up splitting a potato appetizer and a pizza for dinner. Turns out she's having surgery on Monday, a week from today to get a 40 cm tumour removed from her ovary. In addition to that they have to remove her right ovary and fallopian tubes. Depending on whether the tumour has spread, they may even need to take out the second ovary, but they won't know that until they get inside. And they won't know if the tumour is cancerous until they get in and can do a biopsy. What an ordeal at 26 years old. Because of all of this we decided to throw in dessert because she won't be able to come out for my birthday, which is coming up in a few weeks. It just made me realize that we don't have complete control over our health no matter how much we try. So all the more motivation to get in shape and control the things we can. That was the lesson I learned today. I hope the scale is kind to me tomorrow because I did relatively well today including my water intake which has been severely lacking lately. And if it's not, that's okay too because tomorrow is a new day. With that ladies, I bid you good night and I'm off to pack my gym bag and turn in for the night.

Thanks everyone for the great advice! This morning I was 192.0 (up another pound), but I know I worked extra hard today w/ my food and cardio, so by the time I get home on Thursday, I feel confident I will see a drop! If not..I have no idea what else to tweak!

Congrats to Diana for 100 pounds lost!! Awesome achievement

No time for extensive personals..got a few more things to do for work.
