down to 192 exactly this morning, hopefully the start of a whoosh for me.

All this talk of being in 40's or 30's . . . . I think I miss spent my 20's - I don't recall a time in my life feeling healthier, better, more confident and prouder of myself than I have in the last year.
I think my 30's are going to be the best years of my life - anyone else feeling that way?

Good morning, Friends! Down .6 today. Looks like I just might pull a loss out of the hat for this week. I'm not sure why the scales have pretty much stalled. It might be the lack of exercise? Yeah. Time to get busy with that.

Really? I keep forgetting to take my vitamins. One of them is a B-complex. I need to start remembering to take them as my metabolism can use all of the help it can get! Over 40 years old and menopausal with a desk job. Yep. I have the metabolism of a slug!

I'm 45 now. I can tell you that life only gets better. They say that 40 is the new 30. And, I wonder just how much better life is going to be now that I'm serious about losing this fat and getting healthier? I bet it will be wonderful! I can't wait to find out.

Regarding all of the issues with TOM, I kind of wish I still had TOM. I had surgery and I'm now in menopause. Menopause can be tough sometimes.

Have a great on-plan day.

I spent most of my 30's feeling old and overweight, with creaky knees. I took up exercise around age 35 and felt I dropped 10 years in the next year. It turns out my knees work fine, but my leg muscles were just so weak from un-use {dis-use?}I had trouble getting up and down, so I blamed my knees.

Penguin - That's right, absolutely nothing to freak out about.

Diana - Down 1.8? Wow. Even though it's still (only) .6 above your low, that's a really fantastic loss!

Katy - Another 1.4? These losses are looking awesome already for today!! It seems like those pills are really helping you.

Mell - Don't doubt the scale. Up or down don't doubt it. You're so close to that new chick!

Coondocks - I also hope its the start of a woosh for you! I love wooshes Then again, who doesn't?

GirlyGirl - That pesky little thing called exercise! Haha.

I'm down a whole pound, 228.4. I was so happy to see that even though last night wasn't a night of great choices. My bf and I went to our friends house, played an hour of badminton, then we decided we'd all go back to my place and go swimming. After about an hour of swimming and messing around trying to dunk everyone else (so mature of us, I know, haha), we all went to taco bell. Even though we all had already eaten dinner!! Ugh. I had a burrito... Bad choice but I caved. I still managed to lose so, eh.

Gourmet You probably burned more calories than you realized from playing badminton and swimming. Also hitting that little birdie/rocket (whatever it's called ) got rid of some stress. Great job!

SwimGirl - You've got me curious about Vitamin B now . . . . is it in a pill like a daily vitamin?

GirlyGirlSebas - 45? Seriously?? That's shananigans, I wouldn't have guessed 45 at all from your picture, wow.

patchworkpenguin
- Im starting to notice things like that too, what I thought was just 'getting older' really isn't at all, the weight is coming off and I feel better than I did in my 20's. Fantastic isnt it?

Gourmet Bean
- Thanks for the well wishes . . . whooshes are definately good things

penguin - definitely not worth freaking out about..

Diana - nice loss! It's secretly thrilling to see the TOM weight come off so quickly and see the big loss!

Katy - Thats a pretty fab loss, even if it's mostly water - enjoy it!

Rhonda - I am just as bad with the exercise, not too sure how to get the energy, time, or how to make the rain stop! For now, I just like to think about it! .6 is good

Natalie - nice loss! You are going to back down to your low in NO time!

Coondocks - It's a b-complex, B-100's are best, but B-50's are decent too. I also take a vitamin b before I go out drinking, helps with hangovers! But don't take it at night (unless you go drinking, ), because it gives energy it'll keep you up at night.

I am down .6 this morning to 261.5! Woke up with a weird headache, making me nervous because I used to get migraine's 2-4 times a week and have managed to get rid of them.. I do NOT want them to come back! I am not hungry today either, but I cleaned LOTS, and have all the laundry done. Gotta love a productive beginning to the day!

Down .8 to 246.8

So many losses for everyone it's great to see... great job!!

Swimgirl: Cried water weight off...that made me lol! That makes sense on why on days I take the B-12 sublingual I lose more on those days. I didn't put 2+2 together! Now that I know this, I have it sitting under my tongue absorbing right now. Get your butt back exercising woman! Fitgirly is kicking our butts raw with her 4500 cals burned on days she exercises!! lol

Ayden: Nice! What water pill are you taking? Diurex? Your 50's are waiting for you!!

I can honestly say that each decade has been even better than the previous one. (and of course, this decade, what with getting healthy an' all will be really great!)

the scale read 236.0 this afternoon (i'm on the night shift again for 6pm is as close as I get to morning right now...). Actually it read 235.4 too but I'm rejecting that one as the scale just showing me a preview of coming attractions. 236 is down 1.4 from yesterday and that's good enough.

Unhappy

Wow the scale shows me up 3.5 lbs from yesterday Part of it may be that I didn't weigh first thing this morning (I just did it now) and part of it may just be the vagaries of the scale. I only step on once, I don't do it multiple times like I've seen some other people post that they do. It still means I've lost 2 lbs this week, but 5.5 sounded so much better!
