  • I am doing very well! I have been working out twice a day all week and I plan on doing it again today! I love that my hourglass figure is coming back!! Boy that has been gone for a loooooong time. Even last night after I ate a meal of brown rice and veggies and felt like I was going to burst, I held up my gown and my figure was still there. That has not happened since before I had my second child more than 7 years ago! It has also made me realize that I was doing so bad before. I was heavy for so many years and I spent so much money eating all kinds of the wrong things. Fried this, smothered that and I blew through so much money and I let myself go so bad and when I was thinking about it I was near tears. Even if I hadn't found this forum, I know I can never ever go back to that life every again. Those years were the most miserable of my entire life and I thank God that I woke up and got my s*** together and started getting healthy and doing the right things for my health and well being.

    That is great that there are so many people doing so well! I need to follow your lead! I am having major pms and have felt tired and sluggish this week and have slacked off a bit. I am going to stay on track today though! I am going to take my girls on a walk in a bit and that is always a good work out. Pushing a double stroller with a 2 and 4 year old is hard! I also want to do my exercise video tonight. I am still hoping for a loss this week but at this point I just hope I haven't gained!

  • ^yeah I find some days it is easy for me to stay on plan with eating and some days exercise but most days I struggle with one or the other.

    Well I ended up taking an hour long walk today plus did a ton of deep cleaning and I am still going to try and do at least some of my work out video so today has been pretty good for exercise!
  • I'm still too sick to exercise, but I'm staying very hydrated so hopefully all this week I'm losing this week is legitimate. Its definitely not because I'm dehydrated!!
  • I am SO happy right now. It feels like I have been hovering over the 160's for the longest. Tonight I FINALLY weighed in under 170!!!!!! I hope this is a good sign!

    I also got in 4.3 miles running today while DD was at preschool!

    If it is not too late - I would like to join too. I could weigh-in tomorrow morning. I would like to lose 25-30 pounds by the final weigh-in.

  • I weigh in tomorrow and aunt flo will be raging! If I gain it's because I always weigh in at least 5 pounds heavier when she is here. I HATE THAT because now I am on track. I know it's a part of nature but still! So let's see how I do tomorrow. How is everyone?

    EDIT: Oh maybe it's not too late - I have my weight from January 4th written down in my planner. I'll have to read the thread to see what the "rules" are.

    EDIT #2 - Ok official start post coming soon - but what I want to know is if we're going to crown The Biggest Loser by whoever loses the most total pounds or by some other method because I definitely think whoever loses the most ought to get something to put in their signature! I don't think I have any hope of beating CFMama but if I do I want bragging rights!! :P
