Aunt Flo had me sidelined today. I worked out, finished at 12 and went back to bed until 4:48! The cramps were out of control and I was near tears. I hate her but you know how that is. She will be gone in a few days and watch out for my next weigh in because I know I have lost weight before she came. I have on a pair of pants from last week that were loose and today I had to put a pin in them to keep them up! Now I want Sunday to be here because I know I am going to do really well. I always weigh in heavy when she is here, usually up to 5 pounds but I am happy that I have a weight loss. Still doing very good with my diet. The day before she came I had bad cravings but I found a big ice cold glass of water helps a lot. So does fruit when I want sweets but I am happy with any kind of loss with Flo visiting so I am happy.
02Chance09 - Isn't it a great feeling to succeed even when you felt like you weren't at your best! Next week it's Onederland for you - betcha we're all as excited for you as you are Keep up the great work!
I'm down 3lbs!!! Yay! That brings me to 221!! I can't wait to be under 200lbs!
Everyone else did SO good! I'm gonna try my best to kick some BL butt, but I'm already accepting the fact CFMama is gonna beat me!!

Hello Everyone...I had a horrible week this week, nothing seemed to go right, so I was not able to get to the gym as much as I should, and the stress was over the top so I didn't even think about what I was putting in my mouth. Both of my kids were in the hospital Thankfully they are both on the mend and my coming week appears to be normal! Anyone have any great tricks they have for giving up sweets????

Sorry to hear about your bad week! Glad your kiddos are on the mend.
As for giving up sweets I just don't - I work them into my plan along with oranges, apples, and bananas which aren't "sweets" but help give me healthy sweet like substances.
I eat Skinny Cow Mint Ice Cream Sandwiches (140 calories -I think- and it's a HUGE Ice Cream Sandwich) and a square or two of Lindt 70% dark chocolate with chili oil for 50 calories a square. I also use whipped cream on fruit for a wonderful 100ish calorie snack. I don't want to give up sweets for life so I had to find a place to work them in.
If you want to cut down, try really savoring that sweet treat when you get it - I eat my chocolate very slowly. And if you like mint ice cream those skinny cow sandwiches are a life saver.

Do they do it by percentage or by total pounds? Percentage would make more sense because someone who is 180 is not going to lose as many pounds as someone my size. But I always thought they did it by pounds. I should really try watching that show - when is it on?

I just wanted to throw out a "Congrats!" to everyone who went down this week! YAY!! My TOM starts later this week, so I'm not sure if I'll see a loss or not on Thursday, but I'm so glad that everyone else is doing so well!
I've decided to do a little TOM Challenge for myself. We have a fully stocked cookie jar downstairs and usually I can just bypass it and move on, but the week before TOM, it just calls to me and I usually end up caving and eating cookies all the time. I'm challenging myself to stay completely on plan during this TOM. That means no extra snacking or sneaking cookies! If I can work it into my points for the day, then I'll have it, but otherwise, no! Argh, it's gonna be hard, but I'll come here for support!
And I am so gonna make a Biggest Loser ticker. Great idea girls!
