I am very excited! My pants were getting big so I had to go shopping for some more pants(YaY) Now, I have been wearing 24/26, I figured that I would be able to get a 22. I go to the store and I got a size 20. For a while now I have been wondering if it was just mislabled or something seeing as other pants I tried on were two sizes bigger. Today though, I was able to buy another pair of 20's.
I just had a great NSV, actually I have had it for the past few weeks, just haven't posted it. 60lbs ago, I couldn't bend down when something fell, I usually would ask my daughter to pick it up. Now when something falls down, I just bend down as fast as possible, and pick it up, I don't need help, I dont' feel a tightness in the chest, I don't feel short of breath!!

Today I am wearing a skirt I bought a month ago that I couldn't quite zip up that I bought in a regular store. It's a 20 but a regular 20 is different than a plus 20!
Last night I rowed a personal best again - 53.7sec for 250m. My goal of less than 50 sec now seems doable!
I just tried on my size 22 incentive jeans that I bought a couple of months ago, and I could wiggle into them and zip!! Okay, so I can't really wear them out anywhere yet as my circulation would be totally cut-off, but I did get them on!
I had to wear my size 20 trousers to work yesterday. A couple of weeks ago, I could get them over my hips but they weren't close to being able to do up. Yesterday I managed to do them up! They're a little bit too tight to be comfortable, but give me a couple of weeks...
Nope, your size 16P is no consolation at all, because I am genuinely excited for your new size 12 self. I think we seem to be on polar cycles, because you seem to be doing great every time I struggle, and struggling when I am doing well, so your success reaffirms my conviction that I can succeed. So, yay! for Size 12! And yay! for size 16P at New York & Co., because I know that it's shrunk from whatever size you were wearing a few months ago.
I just love reading these. It is such a GREAT feeling to fit into smaller size clothing.
I know without a doubt the number one, two, three, etc.. reason that we're doing this is for our health, but what is it about the smaller clothing and SHOPPING that gets to each and every one of us sooo very much?!?!?!?
I decided to buy a couple of running shirts and maybe a pair of shorts today. I grabbed a pair of size large shorts, thinking "Hmm...I wonder if I'll need an XL." Even though I haven't needed an XL for a while, I still think I do. I tried the large on and they nearly fell off. So I put my clothes back on, went back and grabbed the medium - I was thrilled!! Well...put those on and they were too big too. I probably could've worked with them, but I don't like for my running shorts to be TOO big and get in the way. So I tried on the small and they were perfect! Me! In a small!! What on EARTH? If I'm wearing a small, what are other people wearing? I don't get it. So many people are soooo much smaller than I am. I bet it's tough for them to find clothes!
Anyway, I also bought a size medium sweater at H&M. I doubt I'll ever wear a small top! I tried on some size 8 pants and they fit but I didn't care for them that much. So that's an NSV too - I resisted buying them just because they're an 8, because I'm getting used to the number 8 finally!
