Hello! I hope everyone is well. It's been over a year since I was last an active part of these boards, I have been lurking here for the past 2 weeks and just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I don't see many familiar faces around here so thought I should introduce my self.
My name is Paul, I am 32 and live in Toronto (canada). I am very much a rollercoaster when it comes to these things - I have lost and gained various times over the past few years. I am unfortunately once again at a point that I have to kick my but into gear.
I returned to weight watchers a week ago, except this time I am doing the online program as apposed to meetings. I have had great success in my first week and have lost just under 10 pounds. It's a good boost in motivation and hopefully will help keep momentum.
This webpage the people and it's boards were instrumental in helping me last time and look forward to reconnecting and making new friends.
I am on weight watchers but i go to the meetings welll starting from wednesday due to doctors referral!! I have been doin my own weight watchers points system since the begining of Oct and ive lost 9lbs!!
I really liked what you said in your story-- the last paragraph-- about how the time will pass by whether you make an effort or not so you might as well be losing and not gaining. That's so true- it really hit home.
