I was gone but I wish I would have been able to tell you to enjoy yourself and quit worrying so darn much. You'll do great! And no one ever gained 145 pounds back in a few days!

Hi everyone. I'm baaaack. Thank you all for your kind wishes.

We had a REALLY great time. Good friends, good food (on plan - mostly ), good exercise (got in A LOT of walking and hit the gym), good accomodations, good weather, good times, good everything.

So like I had said, we all brought food, we ate together in a really nice room. We pooled our food and everyone really loved all my roasted veggies. They were a big hit. These are friends I don't see that often. They were all so inquisitive about my new lifestyle. Especially one of the men. Every meal brought on new questions. He just couldn't get over how I changed everything and how well and healthy I eat now and how I exercise so much and how I lost the weight in a relatively quick time. He couldn't get over the drastic change and how exactly it came to be. I tried to explain to him that I just made the "decision" once and for all , that no matter what, I was going to get rid of the excess pounds. And how that "decision" gave me such strength. And determination. He said it was like I was given a blessing. Yup. Exactly.

It was a short vacation, but I felt so great. I was able to do everything and walk from place to place, activity to activity. Instead of just sitting in the lobby like I used to do in the old days and make excuses as to why I wasn't participating. We went dancing one night, it was great fun. We played miniature golf. I had a massage (heaven). Went in the jacquzzi. I was able to wear such nice clothing to each meal and each event. I must have changed outfits 3 or 4 times a day. It felt great.

Hubby was beaming with pride the whole time I was being questioned. And he couldn't get over all the great outfits I had on. We're gonna try and get together for another weekend before the summer's over. Fine with me.

One discovery I must tell you about. I brought with me Danon Fat Free 60 calorie yogurt. Well, we rented a fridge and by the time today rolled around the fridge has practically frozen everything solid. Including the yogurt, which I wound up eating anyway - it was DELICIOUS!!!! What a yummy treat. And since it was frozen it must have taken me 3 times longer to eat, which is a HUGE bonus in my book.

I hope you all had a great weekend as well.

I'm going to go try and catch up on some of the threads. Please forgive me if I don't respond to all of them.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that I am going away sometime mid-morning today and will be returning late Sunday evening.

I am hoping to have a better weekend then last, food-wise. I've gotten off last weeks weekend weight, but I don't want to have to keep repeating that cycle. I feel good and strong this time. Last weekend I definitely had a different attitude. I was kind of planning to go "off plan", if that makes any sense. Yeah, I think it does . That didn't work out too well. So this weekend I will adjust my "attitude". I want a loss come Monday morning!!! Or at least a no gain.

I'm off to go finish packing and check out a few of the threads around here before I check out.

I hope you all have a great, great weekend.
