Aw man I can not miss Friday checkins. Its hard to comment when the day is over. So I'll just say I been thinking of everyone and hoping things are going well/ better or the best for all.
I'm leaving for Philadelphia tonight. I have not exercised since tues slow motion 4 mile but I worked 3 of those days. My feet hurt. I have not gone crazy with food but today was the first day in 64 days I did not really care what I ate. That is when not having anything in the house that is off plan comes in handy. Just really don't feel like binging on pickles. or Wonderslim vanilla shakes. LoL. Out of sheer habit now I just ended up eating plan stuff.
Diana: you will be my rock in my mind while I am at the service and hopefully all I have learned on this board with be my anchor. I'm hoping not to break all down like the woman you described.
Have the very best possible rest of the weekend that you'all are able too.
RadioJane: sorry about the Corp nonsense. You deserve better. That is one good thing about being an Independent Contractor. Its up to me when/if I get laid off. You still my hero and good going looking out for yourself.
Greetings!
I'm a lurker here and enjoy reading everyone's checkins and Diana's unfailing, thoughtful feedback.
I'm a veteran yoyo dieter since teens. Recently, I lost the 35 lbs with WW, burned out & gained back 10. Next was Ideal Protein to reach goal fast, before diet fatigue set in. Last Sept I reached my desired weight for the first time since, um, kindergarten?!
Maintenance sure has a learning curve! I'm still figuring out what & how much to eat. More challenging: how to manage the urges to overeat that resurfaced in a big way after phasing off the diet.
Last but not least, I've finally started to exercise. Iyengar yoga is going to be my get-out-of-jail card for accumulated wear and tear on my joints. I take a class twice a week and sit and stare at my mat at home in between
one last check in to say good night! I weighed myself before getting in the shower this evening and was 1 pound down from this morning...but I am about to eat my fav pizza still, nice to see it go down!
miniapplecocoa Sending you the very best thoughts so you can take them with you and be as strong as you can be . Hold your head up and do the best you can.
mars735 Hi and Welcome to the check-in! It will be wonderful to have you join us. You sound like a perfect fit. I think we have all been around the block a couple of times.
Last night I added on: Lee Holden's 7 Minutes of Magic - the extended PM version
I slept well, again, last night. I woke feeling better this morning.

a pound down this morning! Maybe it's the no wine, and maybe it's the Garcinia Cambogia combined with green coffee bean and cordyceps, but whatever the case I'll take it.
this morning so far:
GanoLife Mocha
B - will be Dave's Killer Powerseed bread toasted with a hard boiled egg and some avocado
L - not sure, it's the pastor's birthday and they'll have cake at church, which I will either not have or just have a tiny piece.
D - today is BBQ day! chicken breast, filet mignon, burger patties, kale salad, and maybe some tater tots or something. I'll of course only have one of the aforementioned meats!
Will walk with DH later for exercise, and I plan on doing arms with the dumb bells I have here. Have a great day everyone!
I decided to adjust my goal five pounds upwards. My weight loss has slowed down sooo much and at this rate it could take several more months to get to 115. To stay motivated, I need to reach my goal sooner so that I can feel I have accomplished what I set out to do and move on to the next phase of my plan.
So I upped my goal to 120 and I have decided that when I reach 120 I will embark on a NEW plan, possibly around six months to a year, to do body recomposition. So my weight will probably not change much, or else it will slowly inch downwards as I focus in on serious weight training and gaining muscle. At that time I will become much more interested in my body measurements than my weight, and I plan to hopefully start training for my first 5k. I plan to take some before and after photos when I start my new plan, probably in July.
But after 120 my focus will be less on the scale and more on building a sustainable, healthy lifestyle. If I lose five more pounds over a six month period, as I gain muscle and lose fat, then eventually I might reach my original goal. If not, then I will nevertheless be the healthiest and fittest I have ever been and THAT is what matters.

Long time dieter who lost it all with WW once, met my husband and gained it all back. Back at it again with Ideal Protein this time (need quick results as my fertility is an issue and we want a family before it's too late). Looking for a supportive, friendly thread
