Yes it is thanks. I used the chicks at first then when I lost 35#'s an my son asked how much weight that was I brought him downstairs and showed him a 35# dumbell. He was very impressed and so I used dumbells for a while but I started having trouble finding big enough weights. So the signs came in. I try for VT signs but can't always find them.

So it looks like my aunt, uncle, cousins and uncle's mom have all been picked up by the police boats and are en route to my other aunt's house who didn't get flooding. The water had started receding but the cars are still mostly underwater along with the lower level of the house. Just glad they are safe! Spoke to my brother in Manhattan, they escaped mostly unscathed too, some branches down and minor wind damage, but they're only about 5 blocks north of where Manhattan is 5 feet underwater. Scary stuff.
On a brighter note, my best friend and my little brother are on the way to the hospital for her to be induced today! Hoping to hear good news about another niece or nephew sometime today
Off to take care of all the errands that didn't get done on lockdown yesterday - laundromat, grocery run, and possibly a stop at the thrift store to rig up a costume for myself since we WILL be trick or treating tomorrow night!
I am so glad to hear that you are all okay this morning. I am still working on laundry to day and have a few errands to run in town. I am still feeling like I am moving and still on the ship...hoping that will go away soon.

Do you know if there's been any news out of Queens? When I talked to my brother this morning he said it was really strange that no updates were coming out of the Rockaways.
Not much Scorbett, they were hit harder than they expected and there are at least 50 houses burned.... I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Good Morning ! Sandy blew through here with 70 mph winds last night. We made it without losing power. Whew. It was a scary night.
Had Potato Puree for breakfast. It was surprisingly good.
So far I am very happy with IP and I know this is going to work for me.
Hubby sat here last night and ate his pizza and chips and I didn't even blink.
Didn't bother me at all.
That sounds like my night w/Sandy. Where are you at in Maryland?...we are in Mt. Airy, so we missed out on the very worst of it. So glad we made it through with no damage and never lost power, either. Feeling very fortunate here, but praying for those who were not so forunate!
