Hi girls Checking in to say hi and update as well. This month is going by so fast!
I did a WI this morning and am down exactly 4 lbs! I was 182.8 on the 3rd when I checked in and am 178.8 this morning! My goal was 6.8 lb. loss so I am going for it! So happy things are moving again this month.
I drank my water the past 2 nights and I think that has been helpful. I had slacked off on it a bit and I see it really making a difference.
Leah yay on making goal! and to everyone else who made goal and also on the losses.

Nichols I think your doing great! I know how irritating the scale can be but looking at your chart and your start weight to current just about 5 lb loss! Oh I see, it was down more on the 18nth, that will come off again...the scale just likes to play with our heads sometimes! Keep up the great work.

Rough couple of days, but I'm back in the game today! I've decided to ONLY weigh on Sundays, so that is when I will be updating from now on. I will be reading and cheering you all on throughout the week!
takingcontrol: My 5 mile walk takes me about 1 hr, 45 minutes each time, up to 10 mins less or a couple minutes longer if I end up doing a little bit over the 5 mile mark. I don't just saunter along, but I definitely don't push the speed a ton either...working on distance first, then I will up the speed. Haha.
kfunk6113: Thank you, and nice drop! Also, when I first started eating better/watching portions and counting everything again, I realized that I was coming up a little low on calories, so I started adding heartier things in like seeded toast and things like almonds, avocado, or hummus to round up the calories in a healthy way. If you find you're not eating enough, maybe try adding a few things like that here and there and see if they nourish you and get your body to let go of holding on to everything because it is thinking it's getting in too little to sustain itself long-term. Hopefully you will find your perfect range! And, I bet focusing on your water will help, too.
Nicholsfamily1987: I know this is a couple days late, but eating later than usual will get me, too. I see you're coming back down steadily from that already, though! Hope you feel better soon.
nancymlrn: I'm sorry you are struggling. If you're totally OP and the only thing you are giving an exception to is a little bit of alcohol, I'd go ahead and cut it out of your diet for a full week or two to see if it has any impact. You're right that everything is perfectly fine in moderation, but I'd try it just to see if you are sensitive to the empty calories and just add it back in if you don't see a difference! I've had to try that with a few different things myself. Also, I may have to try that trick with my FitBit next time I'm having to use my arms and can't swing them naturally...thanks for the tip!

Weigh-in was 245.0 today. Did 5.5 miles on my walk last night, so I'd say the shoes are fully broken in. Still struggling to get more than the same 12 servings on my water every day, but will continue to work on it. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Congratulations on showing a loss kfunk. I haven't started the CPAP yet because I haven't met with the doctor yet for the followup visit folloing the sleep study. That is in a couple of weeks.

I found out at the weight loss clinic that I am diabetic - a real shock - I have never been diabetic. I go to see my primary care physician this morning to find out what I need to do.

darius congrats on your loss so far this month, that is wonderful. I am sorry that you had an unpleasant shock recently. Hang in there and keep up the hope, I have heard many stories where people were pre diabetic were able to reverse it. I hope the visit goes well with your doc.
As for me, as some of you know, I WI sporadically and I will report my final WI on 4/1....I always use that last day and then I can report my weight on the first for our new April challenge! This has really been a challenging month for me with such low loss. I do have a structured workout program I will be starting on Monday and see if that helps either move the scale or change my over all fat placement
