Thank you kfunk!
I went to see my primary care physician and she told me I can get it back down again. She put me on Metformin and I got my blood glucose testing kit and strips and so on this morning so tomorrow morning I have to start using that.
I hate needles but I look forward to conquering this insulin resistance and never needing to do it again.

And about finding out that you are diabetic, I am so sorry...it runs thick on my father's side of the family, so I have always been cautious of it as well. It's a good thing you know now, though, because you can start tackling it right away instead of not knowing and possibly making it worse. Hope the Metformin helps!
What is OMAD?

Although, meeting it by the end of March for this thread might be a little harder. We'll see what happens, but I'm not holding my breath.

Nancy, I have heard several times that it is slower to come off the closer to goal that you get. Some months are going to be better than others, but you are going down and at the end of the day you are lighter than you were last month and that is a huge win!
