vertigo-You have to get Just Dance, I love it. I may look funny doing it cos I have no rhythm but it is so much fun.

i have read some really good reviews about the game from amazon.com.
the only bad thing seem to be: no enough songs.
Everyone says its ton of fun and good exercise.
I'm definitely look into the game.

Just thought I pop in for a moment and throw in some titles for the wii you might not of heard of before....
Samba De Amigo is great for the arms and upper body
Wii Cheer is also a lot of fun and gets me sweating..

Piece of advice, get a wireless nunchuk.

Take care

hhaffner- However you want to do it! Daily or weekly, whatever works for you!

Thanks sweetcakes, I thought about checking out Wii Cheer. I just added the second one to my Gamefly Q. Never heard of Samba De Amigo, but I added that too.

Discussion for Everyone!

What are your favorite activities in Wii Fit(And Plus)??

I love the advanced step & rhythm parade for some reason. The obstacle course really gets me sweating too. Snowball fight is a lot of fun.

For me I really hate my arms. One of my goals in to be able to wear tank tops (or no sleeve garments) without feeling embarrassed. So for me i really like the flying chicken game. It gets my arms moving which is great. I als really enjoy the rhythm games as well.

My favorite on the original game was the bubble balance game (i became obsessed about makng it to the end, lol).

Ps. Did 30 min of yoga and strength training (on the wii) yesterday and i can really feel it in my legs and core today ^_^ yay!!

Oh dear, I tried the advanced step for the first time this morning. The purple feet really confused me.

I love the the balance game where you drop balls through the holes in the board. I always start my work-out with that to sort of loosen up and get into it. Then I do some yoga, which I view more as stretching exercises, and some strength ones because I know I should but I don't really enjoy them. Then off to hula hoop and step to get some actual exercise. Boxing too if I have time. I alternate balance and aerobic games for a bit. I always finish up my routine with the one where you just sit perfectly still for 3 minutes. I think that's my favoritest of all.

I'm really looking forward to getting the fit plus. I think we're getting it for work so I can play it before I buy it for myself.

hhaffner- I really hate my arms too. I need to work on them more. I hate working on my arms though. Haha. I hate bubble balance! I think it's the only one I don't like. Maybe because I get so frustrated with it! :P

Vladadog- I like the table tilt one too! I can never sit still for the flame one. I take yoga classes and sometimes they do things like that where you sit or lay for minutes in complete silence and try not to think about anything. I get to restless. I love doing the yoga, but when it comes to that part my mind just goes insane.

A little late...but I'd love to join in. My Wii Fit is the only chance I get some days to actually "exercise", so I try to spend at least 15 minutes every other day on it...so for the rest of this month, that is my goal. 15 minutes, 4 days a week. I know I can do it.

Vladadog - the first time i tried advanced step i had the same same reaction as you. The next few time got better though.

I tried advance marching one the other day though was a little overwhelmed. (much like advanced step at first) Maybe i'll try in again in a few days, lol

Grandiose - welcome

Wow, you guys are all doing great. I'm a little embarassed to admit that we are already 1/3 into in the month, and I have accumulated exactly 0 minutes thus far. Guess I'll have to have a few "cram sessions". If I can write a 10 page paper in two days, then shouldn't the same translate to this, lol? I just need to mentally substitute the "page" part for "hours", and the "write" part for "Wii exercise", and then it's done, lol. Now, I just need to actually start.

I got 15 minutes done yesterday...and my plan is to do at least another 15 today, after I wrestle with the dogs trying to get thier nails trimmed!! lol.
I need to set up a "routine" on the Fit that will have the most impact...any ideas/suggestions??
