No running for me today, I've got cross training on the schedule and it looks like it's going to be biking with my DH, which is always fun!
I did not get my 2 miles in last night. My legs are really hurting...maybe from the big run on Wednesday. But tonight, I am hitting the gym right after work. I don't have to go pick up my kids after work to take them to their grandma's, so i told the bf i am hitting the gym right after work before i even head to his house. Then I am planning to get up in the morning and hit the gym. So, we'll have to see if i really do that or not. I'll let you know on monday. We don't have internet at his house or mine so..have to wait till monday to report.
I don't know? I'm up it for however we want to continue -- we can keep going with this thread and aim for 100 miles, or we can start a new thread for May and aim for 50 in May (maybe new people would be encouraged to join a new thread)? Either way is fine with me, as long as we keep going!

No running for me today, I went biking with my DH, it was a beautiful day for a ride. Tomorrow is my one and only rest day and I'll be doing yard work and maybe some abs. Running starts on Tuesday and I have about a 20 mile week on the schedule.
Hello!!! I did manage to make it to the gym friday night and saturday afternoon. Friday...I got in 4 miles and Saturday i got in 3 miles. I plan to hit the gym again tonight too.
This morning I did my 4 miles and other than the humidity I felt great. I guess we'll start a new thread for another 50 mile challenge on May 1st -- does that sound good to everybody?
I looks like everyone has been kicking butt since I last posted here! I don't really know what's been going on with me...but I think that I just hit a WALL! After a few hill runs last week, I totally just threw in the towel. I guess after running 4 times a week for almost 3 months...I just got BORED! Most days, I run on the treadmill because it's easier and safer than running around town by myself. Well...anyway, I'm back and ready to finish my last two weeks before my adventure race strong! I'll be running tonight...so I'll definitely post my miles before bed to keep me accountable.

Yes...May 1st sounds great for starting a new thread. I am definately in. I missed out on the gym last night. It was my birthday, so i skipped. But i will be back tonight and aiming to get 3 miles in tonight. Aiming for 25 miles in april and the full 50 (if not more) in may!!!
Hi gang. I am up to 56 miles. Looking forward to the may challenge. I'm looking at it and trying to plan a way to really make the 50 miles. Too bad my 5 miler is on Wed. April 30th. That would have been a great kick-off.
I do know a 5 and if I don't cut it back, a 6 mile loop in my town. Maybe I'll set a goal to do it this Saturday. Gotta get it done first thing... 9am kids karate class to get to. But, I'm thinking-- do-able.
