When you are working with a trainer or instructor, you need to be able to communicate honestly with them and provide feedback on how their instruction is working for you without having to worry about them screaming and blowing up in your face. It's not a healthy or beneficial relationship if you are too scared to give any feedback to your trainer because they'll start yelling at you if you dare to say anything. Communication needs to flow both ways - from trainer to trainee AND from trainee to trainer. Cara should have listened to his feedback without cutting him off and had a mature conversation with him about it. If she felt he was disrespecting her she could have expressed that calmy without swearing and yelling at him.

Someone needs to tell her that this isn't all about her. Bob and Jillian don't talk about how a person affects them personally, and the show is about helping overweight people, not saving the feelings of the trainers.

I think you will find a lot of trainers in hollywood are actors on the side. Doesn't mean they aren't qualified trainers.

as to Cara and Ken I thought he had a good point that no one in the world is going to know more about the environment they are currently in than Bob and Jillian. And everyone has to admit that it is an unusual environment from what most trainers operate in.

On the other hand, he's lost 130 pounds in 4 months.

anyone else notice that all the women are absolutely georgeous? I can't wait to see them with thier hair and makeup done on makeover week.

I thought Cara's reaction to Ken's... request was... fake, I guess. She got so mad, so quickly, that I can't help but wonder if the producers put her up to it. Drama sells. If she wasn't acting though, then holy cow I get that she'd be hurt, but that was way too defensive.

I've really enjoyed Kaylee up until this point. But after this week's +4, I'm really really annoyed.
Her progress...
Week 7: 174
Week 8: 176 (+2)
Week 9 (which was really two weeks): 174 (-2)
Week 10: 169 (-5)
Week 11: 168 (-1)
Week 12: 172 (+4)

From week 7 to week 12--5 weeks (well, really 6 weeks)--Kaylee's lost 2lbs (174lbs to 172lbs). I thought her weight loss sucked because she's so tiny, but all the other women at this point have BMIs lower than Kaylee's. She went from the lightest women on campus, and now that Cortney is gone, Kaylee's the heaviest.

BMI (week 12) for the ladies
Irene's: (5'4")(161lbs) 27.6
Oliva's: (5'9")(172lbs) 25.4
Hannah's: (5'8")(164lbs) 24.9
Kaylee's: (5'5")(172lbs) 28.6

Highlight for spoiler (NOTE: spoiler content was mentioned at the end of this week's episode, with that whole "what's going to happen next week" preview): Kaylee's likely to go home real fast what with singles coming up, so that's good.

And again with the Cara thing, I'd like to reiterate. While her reaction was over-the-top, Ken *is* AT LEAST the 3rd person on campus to disrespect her/question her abilities/etc. I can imagine she was probably at her breaking point. Especially because, also like I've mentioned, she has really proved herself as a trainer on this show.

No, she isn't on par with Jillian or Bob, but no one can actually expect that from her yet. However, she does have a good track record thus far. I wonder if someone could come up with some numbers comparing Brett and Cara to Bob and Jillian Season 1. My guess is, Brett and Cara are pretty damn close to being right on par with Bob & Jill.

Courtney was my favorite was so sad to see her leave. I'm sure she'll be amazing come the finale.
