How are we gonna work this? Do we post our entries all day and then come back in the morning and post dinner? Only becuz I can't post from home.....?
Or should we post the entire prior day in the a.m?
And BTW, I'm POP today...with NO exceptions...... :lol:

WAY TO GO!!! So am I...so far! I think tonight will be okay too, as long as I can get to bed early-ish.

I am glad we are doing this. I see one mistake I was making already. I order the stirfry I had for lunch at least once per week, and normally I wasn't counting the fat in there. See? You're keeping me honest!

I think we should post dinner the following morning. The way I plan to do it is to copy my entire post from the day before and then just add dinner. THEN I'll start posting for Tuesday, each time adding whatever I need to. I don't normally post from home either, unless I have something to do for work.

Dinner: 6 oz. Grilled beef, Broccoli/tomato/mushroom/gr. onions, 1/3 C br. rice, LS soy sauce (free) 1P,1S,2V
Evening snack: 12 small strawberries, SF Jello, 1 TB FF Cool whip (free) 1F

Water so far: 72 oz!

Hey Cathy - is your chicken 8oz uncooked - 7oz cooked? or were you using 6 oz uncooked, like for beef?? (not that I'm the protein police or anything)

Marisa - Have you tried grapes, strawberries or cherries? Or do you just not like fruit?
It doesn't look like you are getting enuf food in period. You could be putting your body into stravation mode. JMHO and the COD :devil: 's.

Hi Marisa. I was having the same problem as you. I'd always miss my fruits so I started drinking juice. I don't know if its allowed on Gold, but my plan allows for fruit juice as long as its 100% juice, not from concentrate.

Hi Staylynn and Chklit! Before beginning LAWL I despised...WAS REVOLTED by...all fruit. I ate POP for the first 30 days of the diet and since then my intake overall had just decreased. I've lost my appetite and I worry that I'm not getting the nutrition that I need to remain healthy. But I'm playing this guilt game with myself. I have learned to enjoy pineapple, pears, strawberries, bananas and even apples! Which is a HUGE feat for me since the though of fruit disgusted me before. You gals have inspired me. I PROMISE to get in a least one fruit today. And I'll DEFINATELY look into the juice thing. I'm almost positive I can have juice on Gold plan. Thanks for the advice!

The good news is...someone actually called me "thin" yesterday! I was dumbfounded!

Breakfast today:
Coffee
1/2 cup oatmeal with 4oz skim milk

Hi Star! I was too! I went in and edited my post from yesterday like Fiona suggested. I think I'll keep adding to each days and then that way they'll be easier to keep track of. You know what's interesting...I have been on LAWL since Feb and have not ever thought of making egg salad. I LOVE egg salad! See? That's the other reason I wanted to know what you guys were having :s: . I get so bored with my own ideas for food.

Well you probably are right about not getting enuf nutrition in your diet right now. Especially the fat, without as little fat as the Gold plan gets, it is really bad for your system to eliminate that, you need it for your hair, skin, nails, etc. I have actually seen my hair get dry and thin for lack of fat in my diet (not this time, that was on another diet).
The Gold plan is really slim when it comes to calories and nutrition needs, please try and get it all in. sorry, I will get off the soap-box now....lol

4 ounces of juice not from concentrate, 100% fruit juice counts as 1 fruit.

So 'Thin' how tall are you? If I was your weight I would be within 2 pounds of goal - OH to dream....

Carmen - Well at the end of the day, prior to dinner, I didn't have that much left to pick from. My meat was frozen....I too, LOVE egg salad....too bad I had zero starches left or it would have been a sandwich.......

Starlynn, I have noticed dry patchy areas on my face the past 4 days! Not until you mentioned fat did I put 2 and 2 together! *lightbulb just turned on* OK - my goals for today are fruit and fat. LOL!

As far as my height - I'm 5'7". I started LAWL at 170.8 and I'm now at 152.8. I'm definately not thin by any stretch of the imagination...but I wear a lot of "slimming" black! LOL - It's all about hiding the bad and using optical illusions on he rest. :)

Marrisa - I also use fruit sauce - like apple sauce, but out of peaches, etc. for fruit - I can find the single serving containers - they are about 60 cals each.

Also -how about raisins? Aren't they OP for a fruit? (I don't really like them, myself)

dinner: 2 cups lettuce FF dressing, 8slices deli cut turkey breast, 6 rd wheat thins, lite baby bell chese, 6 baby carrots (3V, 1P, 1 Startch, 1dairy)

Snack: 15 grapes, la lites (1F)


water: almost 32 oz down

Marisa - Next be sure and check for thinning hair :fr: Fat is really important to me now.....I'm glad I've given you reason to try and get more of your foods in.....Also the water is very important too.

Ofcourse your young, when I was your age I would go on an all prune diet for a week :?: And I was pretty thin (118/5'7") when I did that - go figure :?: Now if you were my age you would probably be happy at 152, wanna trade? :lol: About your slimming black - I'm about really tired of black, have worn it for years, just recently I got rid of alot of it and replaced it with a rainbow of colors :joker:

Raisins are on plan 2 TLBS is a fruit. Too bad Fuzzy Navels aren't consiered a couple fruits :cheers:

Went to COD :devil: was down 1.2 pounds :angel: :cp:

POP means Perfect On Plan , COD is Center-of-Doom (my own personal way of making going for WI (Weigh In) a little less scary.

Looks like you and I have a similar problem with fruit! And where are you adding the fat in? :?:

About losing your wings, better to lose for not eating enuf, rather than too much ;)

I don't want the water today either, but will drink it anyhow.....
The thing with going to COD 3 times a week is that I can't lose everytime - and I'm thinking this might be one of those days with no loss. This recent continued loss is something really new to me and totally abnormal. Normally I'm a really slow loser, going for weeks without a loss. (Maybe that had something to do with my tweaking the plan though). All I know is that this seems too good to be true.

Having a hard time with Water my Fiance bought me the little bottles of 12 oz Dasani waters, for somereason I drink more water if the bottle is bigger.

Water 24 down 40 to go...and Fiance and I are going on another walk tonight ;)

Hi everyone! I am doing takeoff today and tommorrow and have the worst Headache :headache: in the world! Which means I am doing this thing right and having no carbs (except the takeoff drink)! I am looking forward to Fridays weigh in ....which is keeping me going through eating ALL THIS MEAT!!!

What did you eat when you did take off ????

Thanks for the info regarding what COD and POP stands for...now I can read the posts with all of the meanings behind them.

Went into COD (tee hee) and lost 1 lb since Monday! I wish it would be like this ALWAYS...but, alas, there is reality.

How do I get my fat in ? I don't really. I figure on days like today, it's in my hamburger.

Todays Food:

Breakfast: 3/4 C. Dannon Fit n' Lite Vanilla Yogurt
3/4 C. mixed berries

AM snack: LA Lite bar

Lunch: Healthy Choice Country Glazed Chicken
(with rice and a minute amount of green beans)
6 oz pineapple juice

Dinner: Hambuger
Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and Mustard
1 rice cake

Got LOTS of water in today.

Still have a fruit and another LA Lite left....I may use the fruit up with a LA Lite Smoothie. It's almost 8pm-I'm not going to eat both.

Daisy, When I started they put me on Take Off the first 2 days. I gained 2 lbs. I was told to eat 2 eggs each day, and all the meat and vegetables I wanted. So glad it was only 2 days. Never could do Atkins. Anyhow after I got on program I lost 5 lbs. the first week. I thought I heard you could do TO every couple of weeks. I will probably if I hit a plateau. They told me it was to boost my metabolism. Which is very low. Good luck. The food will taste so good when you got back on plan.

Hey Sharon - the fat is supposed to be in addition to the fat in the food - try just adding nuts to your fruit and yogurt - that's what I do most days. Love it! I use cashews. About TO - they say that you can do it every two weeks, but I've only done it about 2 or 3 x since I've been OP - it's also great for when you've been off plan for a while - like vacation.

There is another version of TO - it has two lites, the juice, 6 oz of protein and 2 cup of veg - this is the one I usually do when I do TO - it seems to reshrink my stomach.

Thanks Kathy & Julie for the info regarding Take Off, as well Kathy, for the idea about the nuts for fat. I'll have to get some next time I shop-and try it with my yogurt & berries in the am. Or I may just have to make sure I have a salad every day that includes low fat or light mayo, altho I would like to be a little more creative than salad w/mayo. hmm...maybe into tuna, then spread on crackers for lunch. Now that sounds good (even though I would not have enough crackers for the tuna).

Sharon- if you are willing to give up two of your starches- try the tuna on a tortilla - I've bought the low carb whole wheat ones - they are about 100 cals for a big one - I still have some tuna left, but can wrap up most of it. I also like the small pita's - you can have one for 1 starch - still too small for a whole can of tuna, but it's nice for a change.

They are really pushing the new TO juice at my center. They are telling everyone that if they do the TO every 14 days, they will meet the 2 lb per week goal. They are giving 25% off right now. You know, those :devil:'s are a real hoot! At first the one (mean) one told me that the 25% off was only on the new juice, then when she found out I wasn't going to buy any of it she told me it could also be extended to the other products. Sheesh!

Her husband is part owner in some resturant/bar downtown Cleveland with some strange name.....Piks and Something?

Hey Star! Yes I know where Bay Village is and YES I know and LOVE Pickwick and Frolic. That place is so awesome. I took my GF there for her birthday and asked my DH if we could go there for our anniversary but he didn't take me. It takes me literally about 4 minutes to walk there for lunch. Please tell your friend that they have a winner!

Carmen - My friend has a huge Christmas party every year and two years ago she had it there at their Picwick and Frolic. We had the basement and they brought in extra acts and stuff - very cool! They live on Lake Shore (?) Have a huge beautiful house on the lake......her DH is a CPA/Attorney and she is an Interior Designer.
I will tell her you love the place...
Maybe next time I visit them I will make time to meet up with you for lunch or atleast a water & Lite.......lol

Let's make it lunch...OP of course!:lol: We can have it there at Pickwick. By then I should be at goal :crossed:. Anyway, when we went there we did the whole nine yards... Dinner, the cabaret (my favorite part), the comedy club and of course the martini bar :cheers:! I don't know much about Bay Village, except that there are some beautiful homes over there. By her being a designer I'll be her place is drop dead gorgeous. That town is about as far west as my town is east, probably about a 25 minute drive from downtown. Seriously if you are coming this way during Christmas time, be sure to let me know!

She is having a 4th of July party but we will be in Park City, Ut But I will let you know becuz I go there a couple times a year....we will both be at goal...

Breakfast:
3/4 C Dannon Fit 'n Lite Vanilla Yogurt
3/4 C mixed berries

Mid AM: LA Lite bar

Lunch:
Healthy Choice Roast Turkey Breast w/Rice
6 oz pineapple juice

Dinner:
Baja Ensalada - Chicken, lots of lettuce and tomatoes
1 Rice Cake

As usual, I didn't get my veggies in at noon (got the entire days in at dinner) and didn't get 1/2 of a fruit, 1 LA Lite bar, and my fat (working on that one when I go to store). Got LOTS of water in though-way more than needed.

Go in for weigh-in today-hopefully I will see another lb down the drain (or wherever it goes).

1 small tomato, 1 pk LAWL dressing

D: CC PBJ sandwich
8oz skim milk
1P, 1Dairy
Walked 9472 steps (with a goal of 10,000 per day, thank god for my job!)

This morning 5/24 I've had:

B: 1/2 cup oatmeal w/1TB sugar free syrup - 1S, 1 Free
S: Lite, 1 small banana - 1L, 2F

Did 15 minutes of weights, already have walked 3300 steps.

Have not been to COD since last Thursday when I lost 1/2 lb after doing TO and gaining 1/2lb. Next time I'm going to do the unlimited, I really think my body goes into starvation mode with the limited version of 6oz protein and 2 veg.
