Thumbs up reasons for wanting to lose weight!

#1 I have a 5 year old that we have never had family pics with cuz I hate the way I look!

#2 I hate the way I look so I take it out on my hair! (My poor hair)

#3 My sis wants me to go on an Alaskan Cruz next spring I want cute clothes.

#4 I go running at night and man does my body look discusting in the shadows of the street light!

#5 I want to enjoy "being with" my DH again. He always tells me how beautiful I am and loves me the way I am. But eww discusting he has to touch my BF belly.

enough said and enough negitivity!!

I will be 135 by May of 2004!
CW: 185

Anybody willing to go the tole with me?

1. I don't want to end up relying on a wheelchair and/or other people to help me get around because of "flare-ups" of arthritis in the knees constantly, like my late mother did by the time she was in her mid 50s. (I will be 42 in February). She died of cervical cancer almost 10 years ago because she didn't take proper care of herself.

2. I find being "morbid obese" is another way of slowly committing suicide, and I have way too much living to do yet.

3. I want better acting jobs.

4. Though I still get around well now, I want to get around even better...my goal is to run the Pittsburgh Marathon by 2005--when I am 43.

5. Okay, I confess...I just want to be a plain old HOT LOOKIN BROAD!

I want to feel like a "normal" human being
I want to travel and fit in airplane seats
I want to walk "normal" instead of like a duck. Waddle waddle waddle
I want to take my grandkids to amusement rides, and the park, or even just sit on the floor with them. (like their other skinny grandmother)
I want to be able to sit in booths
I want to be able to walk in parks, to sporting events, in museums, anywhere and everywhere.
I want to be a living example to other women who are "older" that it is NEVER TOO LATE.
I don't want to be an embarrassment to my husband anymore.
I want to ENJOY life... not just exist.

I want to see me as a picture of myself with the body I had when I was 19 an not think that I am fat. (wow I looked good than and thought the worst)

I want to be able to look at my boss (the stupid j!@# that he is ) and have him listen to what I say and not just take notes to tell my supervisor what he doen't think I should wear anymore while he lets the "skinny" girls wear whatever they want.

I want to want and think I deserve to get it!

I want to stop avoiding situations because I am heavy. I have a friend (haven't seen this person in 25 years) who wants to come to visit me. I am too embarrassed to let this person know what I did to myself. I'd like to lose enough weight to say, "Sure, grab the next plane in and I'll meet you at the airport."

I want to be able to go through my closet and pick out anything and have it actually fit.

I'd like to feel less tired all the time.

I have bad arches and I am sure this weight doesn't help. I'd like to be able to have my feet stop hurting.

My new one for the day: My 8 year old loves to shop and look at new clothes for mom! She does not realize 3/4 of the things she picks out does not come in moms size. I would love to go shopping and let her pick out an entire outfit for me w/ out leaving the store depressed!
