Good Morning! The pictures below will let you know why I haven't had time to get to the computer in the last few days!! They left here on Thursday evening to go to Colorado to leave TJ with his Mom for the school year (yea, I'm not happy about that!) She is being a reat B***H and I'll bet she calls in a couple months and wants them to come and pick him up again! She is just having way to much fun being single to have to deal with a 10 year old!! OK Enough of that!! We have had so much fun while they have been here. They will be back this coming week-- had a few loose ends to tie up in Colorado before they settle here. Although, they have both already been out looking for jobs and have very good prospects already! I have decided to share my "woman cave" with them right now-- they have moved things around and have it set up pretty nice for them downstairs right now. The older girl, Trinity. will be staying in Colorado right now too with her Dad for a few months. This will give Todd and Ashley some good time to get jobsand set up in their own place without having to worry about getting kids in school and all. So they will just have the baby with them when they come back. I know -- this generation is really weird!!!!
Anyway, wanted to share a few photos. Bella put herself in the dog crate---not my way of discipline BUT I had to get a picture of it! The guy on the "turtle" is my son... Bella wasn't to happy with the pool so Todd latched on the the turtle!! LOL!! I do have a kiddie pool set up for her too! She just doesn't like all the water right now-- hopefully she will get used to it while the bigger kids that "SPLASH" so much will be gone for awhile.
One more picture---- Bella is 21 months old and this is what happens when she screams NO at her Mom!! Mom says go to the corner and hands behind your back!!! Too Cute! Still breaks my heart though. But she isn't in the corner very long! OK Just had to share that one with you too!!

Great pictures Rosey and Karen. I'm not sure how this family fits you Karen, is this your son, wife and kids or your daughter? Lynn...sorry for your loss, I didn't think it sounds good when she went into a coma. Bruce and I too are going to be cremated with no service or memoral too. We have that posted in our wills and much prefer everyone thinking of us alive instead of dead.

My Dear, Dear Friend died this morning at 3 AM. She will be cremated and does not want any service or memorial.
We had a record breaking July on the Golden Girls, usually it just about peters out with everyone too busy to post. I set up the August thread and Monday morning I really, really have to put my nose back to the grind stone. I'm really struggling to keep at goal. I need to start counting the calories again, blah, blah, blah. I helped out DD today with her rummage sale and I'm about cooked, need a shower bad. I just wanted to check in to see what's happening around here. See ya all Monday morning on the new thread.
I'm so sorry for your loss of a friend, Lynn! No matter how it happens it always hurts.
Bobbi..I understand...the time I lost 33+ lbs and regained them I didn't realize I had to continue to count calories. This time around...I am in no real hurry to lose but if and when I ever do lose this extra weight, I intend to just keep on counting calories. It's just part of my life now anyway although I do get tired of it now and then. I've heard some people say they don't have to count every day but a least once or twice a week just to make sure they are staying on track. That might work.
Which makes me think....has anyone heard of the Cheat to Lose Diet? I ordered the book from amazon today although I think I have the idea already. You eliminate the starchy carbs (like bread) from your diet for three weeks and then you get a "cheat" day when you can eat anything you want. Then I guess you go back on the original plan but once a week you get a "cheat" day when you can have those things again. Probably more to it than that...but I think that's the general idea. One of those ideas of "tricking" the metabolism. I'm not sure that works but might be fun to read about anyway.
Not sure I would be willing to go three weeks without starchy carbs but I am limiting them during the days now and I kind of like that. Yesterday was my first day and I still overate in the evening...no worse but no better. Still it gave me more calories to play around with and that made me feel better in some weird way.
Bobbi, this is my son and his GF, her 2 daughters and his son. He and his wife split up the end of last year. That is why they had to make the trip to Colorado right now, she wants him out there for the school year. Right now anyway! We'll see how long that lasts!! He sure didn't want to go.
Thanks for the compliments on the family..... sure love having them here. Hopefully, their jobs will come through for both of them here and they can get settled in their own place. I know they will be happy here.
