EVENING EVERY BUDDY!!!!

MONET....Yes, it's the local's choice and now the tourists have found it out..when we're in season the locals don't venture out as much as we do after April..lines are long everywhere and
service suffers....you should come in the less crowded time...you would love it even more!

My turkey was WONDERFUL!!! Moist...tender...green beans were WONDERFUL....I love this time of the year....everything is so fresh and good!!!

OOOOOO eeeee Bob you made me hungry for turkey... I'm going to have to get one to cook..... I've been hungry all day and I'm out of choices. I'll just have to bite the bullet..... I think tomorrow I'd better stay away from the carbs and eat protein and vegetables....

Hope everyone has had a nice day. It rained hard here last night so is really humid out. But oh I love spring.... Bye till tomorrow...

QUICKIE!!!

Thought I'd have time to post today but both kids, being away yesterday and most of today have been fighting for the computer for homework. I begged for 5 minutes to get on here and it's already up and they are gnawing at my ankles to get back on.

Will be back on tomorrow morning, bright and early to start the new weekly board.

Nite!

Hi all,

I have rad all the posts and I really have a heavy heart. I always feel like I don't have anything interesting to post. My routine is pretty boring and simple. Not too much going on with me. But as I read all your posts, I am very thankful for my boring life. My heart goes out to all who have suffered death, sickness, lost jobs, etc. You are definately in my prayers and always in my thoughts. I have a prayer on my fridge that says, "Lord, help me Remember that there is nothing that canhappen that you and I can't handle." Sometime you just have to put things in His hands and let Him handle them. God Bless all of you.

Just wanted to answer some posts, It's geting late and still have to fix lunch yet. My trainer came today to change my routine and I'm worn out now. Didn't eat lucnh today and now I am starving. Guess I'll just go to bed so I don't eat.

Sheann, Keeping you and your son in my prayers. Sure hope they find out what is wrong. No matter how old they are, they are still your babies and you never stop worrying about them. God Bless

Zanne, Glad to hear you ahd a good birthday. Keep us posted on the Gift.

Fran, Congrats ont he 11 lbs. I have 50 more to go to. One day at a time. God luck

Fillsie, So sorry to hear about your aunt. She is truly in a better place.

Tramquil, WTG on the 9#'s. Keep up the good work.

Fruite, Sorry to hear you are sick. Get well soon.

Bob, what timeis dinner, I'm on my way. Wish I liked to cook. es I think you should jointhe wight challenge. It willb e such goo motivation. Hope you win the pot.

Gracious, Girl, stay in bed and get well. REST!

Melf, What a horrible tragedy. My deepest symphathy to you and yours. You all are in our prayers.

Deb, Congrats to Lauren on Making NHS. and to Michael on such good grades.

Tree, thanks for the bit about vitamins. My DH takes them like crazy. I will have to print it out for him.

Tomorrow is anothr day and I sure hope next week is a better week for all. For those of you attending funerals this week, you are in our hearts and prayers.

Good night all,

Jackie

HiedieHo All!!!

My prayers and good thughts to all those who are still suffering in one way or another. I remembered you all in our concern prayers this morning at church.

After church we had a Pot Luck Luncheon as a way to meet our new minister who will begin with us on June 1. I took the famouse Crustless Spinach Quiche. I made a triple batch, one for us and two for church. As always it was very good, I heard someone say they went back for seconds.

I was good. Someone brought salad greens and a dressing I could use, two VERY thin slices of ham and some of the quiche. In the afternoon, I had some sourdough pretzels and a banger. For supper some brussel sprouts, cheese and more pretzels. A snack was some prunes. I may have a yogurt for dessert later. Not the best woe but not awfully bad.

Rested this afternoon and was stitching until I decided to check in here.

Hope all gets better with everyone.

Take care, Shirley

A quick post to tell everyone good night and here're good wishes for the coming week.

Beth: Good luck at your interview tomorrow. I'll be thinking about you and sending lots of good thoughts to Alabama.

Melf:You're in my prayers. I am so sorry about your nephew.

Sheann: Hope your son is doing okay.

Deb: Same for your dad. Congrats on the kiddos good grades and Lauren's NHS honor.

Everyone else: Sorry I'm not responding personally. I gotta go to bed. Another week and we have our state-wide test on Tuesday and Wednesday. The everloving TAAS. Even though I don't have a regular classroom, I'll be giving the test to somebody, just don't know who yet.

Mel: About your son's grades: I teach gifted kids and I deal with underachievers all the time. If they don't like it, they don't do it. It's really frustrating. I talked to the mom of one of my former underachievers who's now a sophomore and she's finally ready to admit there may be a learning disability. Does she remember what I told her 6 years ago? Apparently not. I'd just talk to him and see where he's coming from. If he says he sees no reason to learn math because of what he plans to do, explain how math is used everywhere. My hairstylist and I were talking just last week about math and she commented about how geometry wasn't really her thing in high school and now it's very important in her career. I have a book that explains how math is used in jobs. The kids really liked the lesson on the Tai Kwan Do teacher and how he uses physics.

Night Everybody,
Jeanie
